Polyps or nasal growths are usually restricted to the nasal cavity. If they are large enough to protrude outside causing distortion of the nasal profile, they are likely to cause nasal blockage. A Complete ENT examination can provide further insight to rule out polyps or cysts or tumors.

I was told to go back for a CT scan and yesterday I was shocked to be told that I have a deviated septum (S shape), either a nasal cyst or polyp, and one turbinate significantly larger than the other.
The ENT specialist has recommended an "all in one" surgery to remove my polyp/cist, reduce my turbinate and straighten my septum. He figures the reason for my total lack of smell is due to my nose being so blocked that nothing can get to my smelling glands/receptors.

Recurrent infection is sign of low immunity. You need to increase immunity by proper nutritious food, regular exercise, mental fitness etc.

Primary headache such as migraine may be caused by triggers such as food, weather or hormones. Post nasal drip could be due to a sinus infection, a cold or a chronic allergy. These can lead to a post nasal drip and lead to an irritation in the throat. Has anyone else experienced hearing loss or impairment with problems associated with deviated septums or nasal spurs? I have a deviated septum that has been giving me a lot of nasal blockage feelings and breathing difficulty. My hearing has also gotten worse..which coincidentally has been a genetic thing in my family.....so is the deviated septum.....
I have problems with fluid in my ears as well as what they say is neural hearing loss based on my hearing tests..

the nasal discharge from one nasal cavity might be because of the unilateral sinusitis / polyps /deviated nasal septum). You have not mentioned whether you are having any allergic problems (sneezing, running nose, and nasal stuffiness). Saline drops can be used as it causes decongestion. If allergy is present you can also include antihistaminics as it reduces the symptoms. Also try taking Mucolytics (like Bromhexine/ Ambroxyl) and steam inhalations. Hope it should improve.
I was diagnosed with a deviated septum, nasal polyps, chronic sinusitus and a possible mucus pocket. My symptoms and issues all started about 4 years ago when I broke my nose. I was just really confused when I was told the results of my MRI, but then told my SED rate was 2 out of 20. I often can hear my heartbeat in my ear and other problems, but the ENT told me I don't have fluid in my ear, nor post nasal drip (which I find hard to believe).
