1168718 tn?1464983535 Well, we are off to Vancouver UBC tomorrow, and hoping that we will get some much needed answers. As far as the DMD"S go, we are thinking of asking for the Copaxone. I'm wondering if depression gets worse with on a DMD, someone told me that it can ..... I will keep you posted, wish me luck ...
1168718 tn?1464983535 We will be up at 5 am to catch the 7am ferry, ( and hoping no wind storms or it will be cancelled), then 1 1/2 later we arrive in Vancouver for another 1 hour drive to the UBC MS clinic. Then at 10 my day actually begins. It will be 4 different appointments to see if I am NORMAL or not.... LOL ( I tend to think NOT , ) but what the h**l do I know...... Anyways, we are hoping for some DMD instructions, and to see if there is someething else we can do.
1168718 tn?1464983535 Heh guys, I just wanted to say, that I am Happy and Sad about my appt. in Vancouver. I got what we wanted, we do have RRMS , and YES they have put me on Copaxone, and I start it when the nurse will come and help up learn what to do. So, we are happy, but sad that now we have to do the needle thing, and a little apprehensive that it might not work. So, we will wait and see. The Dr. told me it could take 6-9 months to see if it will work, so we are praying it will be ok....
1442059 tn?1340240952 I have a friend w/ lupus and her depression is hard to deal with. The depression from the tx is temporary and will end when tx stops. I think that is easier to endure. That's kind of contradicting, but I've never personally experience depression like my friend w/ lupus. I hope ur Dr. can give you some advice n you'll get relief.

382218 tn?1341181487 Researchers speculated that fatigue was eased because exercise altered a certain protein molecule in the MS patients, increasing energy levels, while depression may have been eased by factors such as increased endorphin levels (the so-called runner’s high) and the patients’ increased belief in their own abilities to perform physical functions." http://www.vancouversun.com/health/active+approach+fighting/6086746/story.

1168718 tn?1464983535 In addressing the depression, my guess it is not seasonal but situational. The situation being that your body is in distress and you are not receiving the proper care. When the situation is off the plate, the depression will be gone. My old neuro insisted I was depressed and was even more insistent on my taking meds for it. I told him find out what is wrong with me and my depression will lift. It was the fear of not knowing.
Avatar m tn I just found out I have chirari and I am having no luck finding a specialist in Vancouver. Is there on in Vancouver?
