To be honest, you sound like yes, you are having symptoms of depression and anxiety. Covid can have after symptoms but for someone that has had covid twice, I wouldn't go there to think you do. There are other things going on and a history with you that would make me think more mental health. What CAN you do? Well, what about digging into the mental health aspect? A psychologist who does dbt/cbt therapy?

Hi I am a psychology student taking a break from studies at the moment recently I was told of a five year old child who tried to commit suicide with a knife now that child has been diagnosed with depression I am aware of children verbally expressing a desire to commit suicide for different reasons but I cant understand how or why a five year old would actually do it and with a knife...is it depression only or is there something else.....?

am I going to be a good mother, will I have the means to do this, will my bf (not the father) stick it through with me. I also have the horrible habit of over-thinking things. Just hard to enjoy this whole experience when I'm worried all the time.

Hello there, indeed it could be sign of depression and depression is pretty common in miscarriage events. You and your boyfriend need each other more than ever so working on your couple could be a good thing. Another option would be to go for a therapy. You are still young so I do really think the depression is temporary and that you don't need medication. I know such event is hard to forget but you will eventually get over it.

I have a degree in Psychology and have worked at a children's hospital. I have seen children very young who masterbate. However, I have never seen one masterbate to that point that has not has some type of sexual abuse. I had one patient that was abused as an infant and taken away from her parents at the age of 2. So, she did not remember the abuse but masterbated every night.

I personally do not agree with giving these kinds of meds to children who are so young. Often times, the meds work in opposite ways in young children, sometimes making the issues worse. What other methods have you used to help treat his issues? Obviously therapy...what kind of therapy, and how long did he go to sessions? Have you tried any kind of behavioral modification techniques (if there are behavioral issues)? Is his school involved? What kind of evaluations has he had?

Hello, I recently discovered friable, breaking asbestos pipe insulation in my basement. We are going to have air quality testing done, and have considered dust wipe testing as well.
