1139187 tn?1355706647 s new book) that one of the symptoms of hypothyroidism is that you feel worse or get headaches in the morning but feel better as the day goes on. I have this problem. Does anyone else have this? If the thyroid medication can stay in your system for up to 24 hours, then why would you feel worse in the morning? Also for those of you with the ear ringing, does it get worse for you as you get tired?

Avatar f tn Patients do not get abnormal amounts of night sleep rather they have problems waking up in the morning and staying awake during the day. The causes can be genetic, brain damage or medical disorders such as clinical depression, uremia and fibromyalgia. Sometimes hypersomnia may be due to other sleep disorders such as narcolepsy, sleep apnea, and restless leg syndrome. Your symptoms may be linked to depression. You should consult a psychologist for a complete medical and psychological workup.

Avatar f tn Thanks for your support. It is amazing how I'm so hyper in the morning but at night is so much better. You said that your on medication, isn't,t that supposed to stop the panic attacks in the morning. I was thinking of going on zolft, but if my panic attacks are still going to continue why bother taking anything. In the morning I say to myself that I'm fine and as the day passes it will get better. I tired of sitting home and not doing anything. I was such an out going person.
Avatar n tn In the past 2 years my vision has worsened- I have gone from 20/20 to 20/50 and 20/60- with Left eye being worse. The eye doctor does not see anything in particular in the eye exam and attributes it to my age (again Im only 28??). I have also noticed that I have motion sickness now-this never used to be a problem, I cannot even ride roller-coasters at this point and a simple trip as a passenger in the car is horrible.
Avatar f tn I actually did not do anything for relief, just accepted it! One thing I did find important for me to do in the morning in order to reduce the intensity in my amxiety, were to eat! Even if it's just crackers...snack on something! Hunger and anxiety do not mix! Also you 've gotten over it once and you'll do it again! :) Good luck!
Avatar m tn t take kindly to an axious body. Sleeping well oddly enough. Anxiety for me is worse in the morning, at times dissipates in the afternoon, with little to none at night. I've brought this up in the past but would again like to see how many others have an increase in anxiety as we go through different parts of the year, particularly the weather changes.
Avatar n tn s time to go to bed, but feel awful sometimes first thing in the morning, but get progressively better as the day progresses. I understand this is quite common for people with anxiety/stress/depression, but why is this the case and what happens while asleep to cause this?
Avatar f tn Remember that when we anticipate things like rapid heart beats or symptoms they will be magnified in our heads. The what if thinking is a very powerful thought process that keeps us in the panic cycle. By learning about it, one can really thrive and cope with it...just keep your attitude up and feel free to express as many concerns and questions as you like. We are all in this together!
1709162 tn?1314084832 I was on 20mg prozac at the time for post natal depression I had only taken them 1 week and the depression was starting to lift but 2 weeks in I had the panic attack. My life has gone spiralling ever since. I used to drive, go out everywhere, have fun with the children and their friend s always sleeping over. I don't drive now. I hardly go out and if I do it is only local no more than a ten minute drive.
Avatar m tn ANother standard psychiatrist question. The reason they ask this is many depressions are worse in the morning and relieve some during the day. Thus we tend to stay awake late as we fell OK and want to not wake up. It's called diurnal variation and is a key indicator.
Avatar m tn In the meantime, today is the same - less woozy in the morning, gets worse in the afternoon until I feel almost feverish. Evening gets a bit better, though my head feels very heavy, and arms are sometimes sore. This is all so weird.

I seem to get through the day all right aking just 2 or 3 10mg oxycodone but when I first get up I feel awful and still have to take 2 pills to get going. Even with this withdrawal-ease stuff which does help during the day cause I havent been down to 4 or 5 10mg oxycodone in 3 or 4 years but still doesnt help in morning. Anyone know why that is.
Avatar f tn Hello, I increasingly think that I have depression brought on by medical concerns. My symptoms include heavy limbs (especially legs), lack of concentration, mild/occasional nausea, and lightedness. I've noticed the symptoms seem more intense in the mid-morning and somewhat subside by mid-afternoon. Has anyone experienced a heightened awareness of depressive symptoms during certain times of the day? I'm seeing my doctor on Tuesday and plan to discuss these symptoms.
Avatar f tn Same symptoms always in the middle of the night. I would wake up with that nervous feeling in my stomach every day. I thought I was losing my mind. You may want to ask the doctor for klonopin. It stays in your system longer and you don't get that crash like Xanax gives you when it wears off. I had that too where I would have a good day then a bad one. I am still not 100 percent but much better off than I was a couple of weeks ago. I started on 10 mg and I am still on the 10.
Avatar f tn They may be able to diagnose pelvic muscle trigger points which may be causing SOME of your symptoms. If this is the case, they can cure the trigger points (and possibly your symptoms) with directed pelvic floor physical therapy. I am not sure why you have been prescribed the Flomax, this is usually given to those who are unable to empty their bladder. That is if there is more than 200+ cc left in the bladder after you void.
148903 tn?1281476107 I usually just get that dry-heave urge if I let myself get too hungry, but my morning sickness was nearly never in the morning either.

Avatar n tn For as far as i can remember, I have had nasal congestion issues that get better in cold and much worse in heat and humidity. Regarldess of temerpature, I always have a slight swelling in my face (around my nose) along with nasal congestion and a headache. I also always feel this thick fluidy thing in my throat that builds up over night and I constantly feel the need to clear the throat and spit this out which i cant (sometime if i do spit this out its colorless).
Avatar f tn bless you hun, i have been at my wits end with the same problem! mine started in the same way as yours and not to scare you just got worse and worse so i can so sympathise with you!
Avatar m tn I wake up and feel fine in the morning, I eat a healthy breakfast and work most of the day from home. The longer the day goes on the worse I feel, my first 6-8 hours are never really that bad. Once I get to 8+ it progressively gets worse until I sleep again.
