Avatar n tn Hi I just read your question and have had some of the same symptoms/results. Would you care to email each other regarding all of this and we could exchange info/concerns?
Avatar f tn I know a lot of people that have went through a major move, job loss, or divorce and it has caused them a lot of anxiety symptoms that they can not handle. In my case I have taken Celexa 2 times in the past and after a month or so it helps. I wish I didn't need medication, but without I don't how long I would have lost my appetite and not slept well.
Avatar n tn Well, hope I haven't bored everyone to death with the details! Anyway one thing I'm curious about is that I have no loss of appetite, in fact I've gained some. Anyone else gain weight?
Avatar f tn I hear that loss of appetite isn't an MS symptom. I've had problems with appetite ever since my gall bladder attack a few months ago. While this is causing me to lose weight, it's a little disconcerting - I love food too. The only thing that drives me to eat is a rumbling tummy, and it really has to rumble. When I was taking steroids, I had more appetite, not less, but I'm sure it's different for everyone.
Avatar n tn Namaste, If you suffer from five or more of the following symptoms of depression and these symptoms are present for two weeks or longer without physical cause, you should contact a professional mental healthcare provider for further evaluation.
Avatar n tn And there are some other associated symptoms usually seen in depression, such as, loss of interest in activities that used to give pleasure or joy, loss of appetite for food (or too much eating at times), disturbed sleep, feelings of helplessness and some more. Do you feel scared when you meet people, or is it just that you do not feel like meeting them? Do you feel better as the day progresses?

Avatar n tn Since that time, I have had absolutely no appetite. Could there be a physical reason for the loss of appetite or should I be concerned that I am going to relapse after 30 years?
Avatar n tn I think i'd rather not be preggers right now but I have no clue what else could be wrong with me! Also, I lost 10 lbs the first trimester of my last pregnancy due to loss of appetite.
Avatar m tn Hi im 23 and about 3 months ago i started loosing my appetite, but it was not like normal lose of appetite. I feel very hungry to the point it hurts almost, then when i proceed to eat i start feeling sick and when i take a bit i just no longer want to eat and i feel sick. I have been smoking since i was 15 give or take a year. Is this a sign i have cancer?
Avatar f tn Hi Kelly I am no expert but I would think that someone with depression could present with those symptoms. I think the fatigue and loss of appetite (and subsequent weight loss) are classic signs of depression. I am unsure about the other symptoms but they do sound synonymous with stress. The fainting could be a result of low blood sugar levels or dehydration. (I'm wanting to say low blood pressure). Cramps can also be caused by electrolyte imbalances.
Avatar f tn At the top of the forum index page there are two buttons - Warning signs of Depression and Symptoms of depression. The symptoms page follows the DSM (Diagnostic Statistical Manual) which is what pdocs used to diagnose mental illness. The other one, warning signs, covers DSM symptoms and a few more related signs which may or may not be present, like anxiety, irritability and alcohol use.

Avatar m tn sometimes i feel as though i am worrying about things for a day or two then it passes but then i start getting other symptoms like muscle weakness, fatigue, and loss of appetite. these symptoms and especially the loss of appetite starts to get to me and then i start worrying about that. i feel like im going to die if i dont eat and that pressure causes me to not feel hungry. i start getting nauseous even thinking about food and that only fuels my anxiety even more.
Avatar n tn Nausea almost every morning, loss of appetite, extreme fatigue, swollen lymph nodes in neck, headaches...I have had lots of labwork done, CT scans, Ultrasound, Endoscopy, Gastric emptying study...still no answer. I take anti nausea medication that the gastroenterologist perscribed to help, but symptoms persist. If anyone has any answers, I'd love to have my life back.

Avatar n tn I have the same symptoms as you: morning nausea, extreme fatigue and loss of appetite (but not pregnant). I was just wondering if you ever found out what was wrong w/ you and if you found any relief? Any information that you can provide would be extremely helpful.
Avatar f tn This is causing me severe anxiety and depression as I now dread going to work because of embarrassment of noises and feeling of dizziness from not eating and being anxious. I can't focus on work, I've been extremely exhausted, and crying almost everyday. This is horrible I feel like I've lost myself. I can't tell where this came from though as I've never had any intestinal issues before (at least not this severe).
