According to blood tests, his thyroid levels are now where they should be, but he is still experiencing symptoms of hypothyroid. I have not been diagnosed with depression, however I feel as if I do suffer from the symptoms! I am scared to ask my family and friends for their help because I have always been a very outgoing individual but recently have found myself batteling my emotions. I understand completely. My husband is what I call a "sleepy husband" as well. He works 2 jobs and goes to school full-time and only has off every other Sunday and isn't home until 7ish 8 every night. We never see each other, then he usually goes and works out or hangsout with friends or does homework or sleeps of course.
And yes I understand how you feel. Around 20 weeks pregnant I hit depression and wanted a cat. I think depression can be a combination of things - both physical and emotional. I used to get mind blowing headaches, which was partly caused by my depression, and then because I had them, it made me feel emotionally worse. It's a nasty cycle. From what you've described, you've been under a ton of stress, getting married is up there in the stress meter! I know when I've been ill, which I went through recently, it sure made my mood drop.
