Common Questions and Answers about Depression symptoms bupa

depression

Avatar m tn Im not suffering from depression and this problem is random and sometimes i dont even realise im having it. Ive had it driving the car and im aware im driving and am able to know what is happening in front of me and can react if the car in front slows down or stops e.t.c but my brain fog seems not to be telling me other information thats happening elsewhere. This is quite hard to explain and as it only usually lasts for seconds i can get through it ok.
Avatar f tn Been referred to a shrink and given anti depressants - GP told me it's Post Natal Depression. My question - do others with MS have any of these physical symptoms? I'm scared that it's a brain tumor. Getting worse on a frequent basis, been to hospital and got told same verdict as GP because bloods were fine.
Avatar f tn as with the most common progressive type of MS (PPMS), the main difference is that they experience a slower gradual progression of their symptoms for the rest of their life time ie from the very start of their MS - normal functions slowly continue to deteriorate.
Avatar m tn Since last I talked to you, I severely crashed after trying my liquid-nolvadex run for a week, which resulted in a rock bottom depression and suicide attempt. I don't want to elict responses of how bad it is to do that...I know, but it's hard for people to understand how it feels and what you go through. Thank God, my wife found me soon after I had injested the pills.
Avatar f tn ( Just also for a side note, ecstacy and stimulants seem to strengthen these symptoms for one reason or another, sometimes alcohol, which caused me to think it was a heart related problem. Ive had blood tests done, EKG, nothing heart related as they could see. They told me it is just bad GERD. (which to be quite honest i hope it is.) any help on this would be greatly appreciated, as I'm sure theres 1000 other people that have this problem exactly.
Avatar n tn Hi, I've had similar crawling symptoms for a in the past but the symptoms were mild and occurred on occasion only, not daily or even monthly. Recently however, my office (basement level) has been invested with mosquitoes; as a result I have several bites up and down my legs (32 bites, old and new, on one leg alone). This has been happening for several weeks. For about the last two weeks however the feeling of crawling has intensified.
1554262 tn?1374243601 The pain doesn't have to be exactly over your heart or on the left side.....however drinking cold water should not relieve cardiac symptoms. If anything it should make it worse. But I am far from an expert. So I cannot say for certain that it is not cardiac. It's possible it is a gastrointestinal problem. Ppl with GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease) or similar conditions are often able to relieve their symptoms, at least temporarily with a glass of cold water...that is factual.
Avatar n tn Our last resort was to have PE tubes placed. This only made his symptoms worse and they took them out after a couple of weeks. Suprisingly after they took the tubes out and his ears were healing, he was symptom free. When the holes closed up he began with the same symptoms all over again. He has constant pressure in both ears, a fluid-like feeling (though the doctors say there is no fluid), and a stuffy nose. He is completely miserable and losing all hope of getting better.
Avatar n tn BUT, if I don't exercise, and I get fat, it could just as easily be diabetes or a heart attack or depression. I listen to my body so much more now, and I guess maybe I am taking a chance, but deep down, I believe that fitness saved my life in the first place ("we usually find this in an autopsy") and that staying fit (carefully) is the best thing I can do live a long happy life. I am moving forward with my personal training goals, too, by the way!
Avatar n tn Then I came across this forum and found that other women had had much the same symptoms and Fentons had helped them, so I gave it a go. I had the op in December, the op itself and the aftermath were not as bad as I imagined. I was healed in about a week, my stitches dropped out in less than 3 weeks, and best of all, last week I had painfree sex with my husband for the first time in about 8 years (I'm 41, I should add)! I was amazed and pretty emotional!
Avatar n tn Thank you desperado. I've also been taking it since late december. No symptoms other than thinning of hair. We trying to raise money for our next IVF. Please keep me posted or updated. I'll do the same.
