Avatar n tn Well Kansas, since you've kicked this before then you know what to expect. That's probably why you're so terrified. It is scary. No one likes this. I don't know if a taper plan would work for you since you can take 10 at a time, but I do advise the plans here if you feel you can control yourself. I'm glad you found this forum. I'll bet U didn't have this when you detoxed the 1st time huh? You will find it very comforting here if you have to do this on your own this time.
Avatar f tn I've heard that the klonopin and clonidine will really help with the physical withdrawals but be sure to stop the klonopin soon (you don't want to trade one addiction for another:). Are you taking any vitamins? I'm taking a multi vitamin, magnesium, B6, and B Complex, and vitamin C and I swear they have helped immensely! You're almost over the physical W/Ds so keep looking forward!! Keep posting!
Avatar n tn The other possibility is that you may have had an underlying depression that the meds were masking. You could speak with a Doctor and therapist about ways to help the depression..they'd likely suggest excercise, good nutrition, counseling, and possibly antidepressant medication. Next..I have very good news. I am clean!!!!! Yay!!!! Yippeee!!!!! I did it!!!

Avatar f tn LOSING WEIGHT, LOSS OF HAIR, DEPRESSION, CAN'T SLEEP. WHAT TO DO AND WHERE TO GO FOR HELP. I'VE HAD NO ONE TO TALK TO ABOUT THIS AND MY DOCTOR IS OF NO HELP. JUST GIVES ME MORE AND MORE MEDS. CAN ANYONE GIVE ME ADVICE AS HOW TO DEAL WITH ALL OF THE SYMPTOMS. ANY WORDS OF ADVICE WOULD BE HELPFUL. WANT TO JUST QUIT THE TREATMENTS. WHAT TO DO WHAT TO DO?????
Avatar m tn Hello Scratch: Wow, I am really sorry that you have to suffer every day with such miserable pain. Often clinics have a charity program that you can apply for and I'm sure that your state has medical aide that is available for you. The thing here is that you have to put your pride aside and seek the help you need. I have listed some pain management clinics in your area that might be of some help. If you google "Kansas, MO Pain Clinics" you will come to a very informative page.
Avatar f tn If there is a worsening of symptoms, it is due to other associated lesions causing conditions such as cognitive impairment or memory problems. Moderate to severe anemia can cause depression, body ache and memory issues. Correcting anemia will help you feel better. Hope this helps. Take care! The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you.
Avatar m tn So these are feelings, huh? Who would have thought! Thank you to everyone on here. Y'all help get me through. One day at a time.

Avatar f tn DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY SUPPORT GROUPS FOR HEP-C VIRUS AND PEOPLE GOING THROUGH THE TREATMENTS IN LEAVENWORTH KANSAS. GOING THROUGH TREATMENT 6 MONTHS INTO IT AND HAVING A VERY ROUGH TIME WITH THE DEPRESSION OF THE MEDICATIONS. IN NEED OF A SUPPORT GROUP.
Avatar m tn Why did I lose my job, wife, home? Am I a victim or did I help create this mess? Don't reply online to these questions but with perfect attention and focus turn within yourself and answer truthfully to yourself. Happiness should not be dependant on things outside yourself. You are not your job, or relationship, or home. Thses are things that life can take away in a heart beat so appreciate them but do not attach a sense of self to them.

Avatar n tn Thank you for your consideration, any help will be greatly appreciated i really just want to help my mother.
Avatar n tn i too can relate about the depression and losing oneself. i have suffered from depression most of my life. one thing that came to mind while reading the original post was that for some people discontinuing SSRI's such as paxil can cause what is referred to as "discontinuation syndrome", not a return of the depression exactly... do some research on withdrawls from this class of drugs and see if that might be what is going on.
152660 tn?1291759171 She agreed that she would be thinking about me all day. Thanks for all of the help. I will keep watch on this forum and see if there is anything I can help with.
211940 tn?1267884866 Yes, I know, our MS symptoms get much worse, in the Summer, and having record high temperatures this year, doesn't help. Here in Kansas, staying at or near the 105 degree range. I find myself having "lights off, lights on" episodes more often (meaning the lights in your head are turned off and you feel like falling down, but before you're half way down, the lights are turned back on). My hand tremors have increased even though I take Rx for it.
Avatar f tn i am 53 years old and have too many health problems, also i just found out this passed summer that i am allergic to grass and has to take meds for that also for the rest of my life.
1794638 tn?1345158661 Hello Everyone, I will be starting my tri therapy in 4 days and I'm starting to freak a bit. I have been waiting 10 years to start, however my GI didnt think the timing was right due to my mental health. Depression, Anxiety & Fatique has been a part of my life for over 10 years now, which I am being treated for also. I will be going to the GI on Friday, Sept 9 for my initial Mock daily dosage & shot, along with some information and training.
Avatar n tn I take it everyday and i don't want to. I went to a doctor and counselor, the only one i could find in Kansas City that actually believed that this drug was even addictive. And he helped me ween off of it. I did not have withdraws and I actually did it pretty fast. I was very proud of myself. But staying off is much much much harder. I couldn't do it.
Avatar f tn I ask the area area you are in because I might be interested in help with my problem of wires breaking.. I am around the Kansas City area. If your dentist is not in that area, would you mind asking him/her next time you go if they could recommend a good dentist for tmj jaw movement and braces in the kc area? I would appreciate it so much/ .
