it depends on why you aren't getting your period but in general its hard to get pregnant without a period because you would probably ovulate randomly but its not impossible so since you don't have a period you would need to take a pregnancy test 2 weeks after the last time you had unprotected sex

ive been on the depo shot for a while my last one was due in Feb and i didnt take it my doctor did a pregnancy test came back neg and now im on my second round of provera also my breast and my underarms were very tender after taking provera it went away wonder when my period will start.

If you came off of the depo provera , theres no side effects when you come off of it but you may get your period back. I went off of the depo provera for 3 yrs ago and it took another 3 yrs. to get pregnant.

Thanks and I was thinking that stress is maybe a reason why I haven't gotten my period yet and before I got on the depo provera shot I always got my period on the 10th of every month I wanted to know if I should wait to the 10th and see what happens..

I was suppose to start my period Saturday however I went in on friday and got the Depo shot. This was the first shot I have ever received. I have yet to start my period. I have always ahd my period before this like clock work so I'm a little confused. I didn't think to ask the nurse if it would have any effect on my periods. Hello, Irregular bleeding like you describe is a common side effect of Depo Provera. Your girlfriend should have been counseled about this possibility when initiated on the medication. m a 19 year old female who was on the Depo Provera shot from summer of 2013 until last November. The depo shot completely took away my periods and even when I quit it in November I didn't get a period until July 2nd of this year. This period was a pretty normal one. Quick question... which Depo are you on? There are two kinds, that I'm aware of: Depo Provera or Depo Lupron. I had tried the Provera when I was about 16 for about a year. I had to stop because I could not handle the side effects any longer. I did spot for about 3 months. It usually takes a few months for your system to get used to it. The Lupron stops your period completely and basically puts your body into menopause, which is the one I am currently on.

May last period was the 1st of sept and it stop on the 5th day i have the apps to keep track of my period and it said my period should start again on the 25th and now im three day late should i worry or how long should i wait before going to the doctor or taking a pregnancy test..

I am a 24 and at the age of 20, I had 2 injections of depo-provera. Ever since, my period could me counted as almost none except when I am extreamely stress wich happen only 2 times.
