dental insurance tricare

Hello... I'm 8wks +2 and I haven't been to the obgyn yet.. they won't accept my form of insurance because I can't find out my provider... what do I do? I have tricare for the next month, but I applied for Medicaid about two weeks ago and haven't heard anything yet.

Not if your not on the insurance, u have to be married to be on the insurance, you can get medicaid till you get Tricare through military and your pregnancy will be covered

Soo we have tried care as our insurance. Today I got a mail from them saying they paid $457 etc. For my last check up. I am just wondering if that how much you really gotta pay with or without insurance just for a freaking check up. I mean they just ask MW how I'm doing check my blood pressure check my baby's heartbeat and that's it. Oh they check if I still have the bacterial vaginosis and if I still have any other infections by peeing and a swab. Seriously? Just for all that.

I'm 17 years old & live in the state of Arizona. I am under my father's insurance (tricare) through the navy but my baby will not be able to be put on his. Any suggestions for an affordable insuranc, especially for a teen mother?

Does anyone else have tricare insurance through the military? I wanted to know what all you have done fertility wise that has been covered. So far mine has only covered everything up till the clomid. I cant even get ultrasounds covered. Does anyone have there RE covered by tricare? I dont know what I am going to do if the clomid doesnt work for me. I only have 3 more months to take it. And I am not even ovulating with it. Thanks for your help.

t governed necessarily like other insurance as its for military. I To Have TRICARE But Am A Service member. If you have a child in the nicu they will give you one but only under those circumstances. They do offer discounts though.

compared to the struggles of a lot of people with their insurance we are blessed to have tricare. So do not freak out or stress about it, you are likely covered for anything you need.

But when I went to make an appointment for obgyn, they told me I had to go through my previous primary physician when I had tricare(military insurance) but I never had one. Can I just go to another office when my Medicaid goes through and not tell them about my tricare? It expires in August... but I don't know what to do. Help?

Reserves get insurance but its not prime, its standard which means its not fully covered. Look into it. I know the military uses tricare, because that's the insurance I have. Have him look into it.

From what I've read Tricare Prime doesn't provide a breast pump. Can anyone confirm this??? What about discount rentals?

We have Tricare insurance. They cover very basic infertility treatments-some ovulation stimulation pills and such. They will not cover IVF. Coverage of infertility treatments will not be affected by you being diagnosed with hepatitis C. There is information on coverage on their web site. If you have specific questions, you need to give them a call.

I do have tricare and I have been going to a hospital that accepts tricare however I have been paying my share also....in my opinion if you go on base yes you are fully covered otherwise I so not believe so... I could not have gone on base because my husband deploys and I am living extremely fat from a base.

Do you mean tricare the military insurance? If so you can get referral from your doc to see an endocrinologist that specializes in thyroids.

I'm sorry but I feel that military insurance Tricare is the biggest crock ever!!! A breast pump should be absolutely fully covered for women in the military and the spouses of military men. These are the people who fight for us everyday, and the families that sacrifice their loved ones for the safety of people they don't even know.

No this app is the one I use all the time now but I did go on there the other day in the military moms forum to ask how I found out what tricare I have and still hadn't gotten a reply 3 days later but that post I put has already gotten 20 comment since I post it not even 2 hours ago

Does anyone know of Chiari Specialist in the Tricare Network or that is considered a network provider I have been told by tricare that since I pay to have prime I have to see somone within the network. I will have to pay travel expenses and co pays and that is fine I live on the MS gulf coast but I will go where ever maybe if we list our specialist by not only where they are but also what insurances they accept that would be of great help. Since most of us end up having to travel anyway?

i didnt want to have to wait this long to just finally be seeing a doctor. by my insurance took forever to get me my referral to go off base. (hubbys military) that is the only bad thing. but tricare covers almost everything. they say that they only cover medically necisary ultrasounds so im wondering what that includes. they dont cover the gender one which really stinks because that will be one that is certainly needed! anyways. i wont even see the actually OB until im atleast 12 weeks.

So I'm getting really frustrated. I know this doesnt really have to so with pregnancy, sorry. My ob keeps sending me bills and whatnot and i just got put on medicaid. A lady came to my house and talked to me about the medicaid and how it would go back 3 months and pay any of my bills that I hadn't already paid. So I just got a bill for 215$ for my on app that was on 3/25 and I called the hospital and they said my medicaid wasn't filed.

Yea tricare covers it!! Both my boys born on post had it done. And don't hate on tricare you don't pay a dime for anything!!
