insurance

3211536 tn?1359385569 I use Delta Dental, they pay for about half, and then I make monthly payments. I suppose all the dental work has to be done at once. I had to make monthly payments of $60. a month, for a couple years, but I am still having problems with a crown.
790496 tn?1315615657 NO, you don't have to tell them unless of course your disability is obvious and you need accomodations up front. If will go the ADA pages, they will provide a more complete answer. I didn't qualify for health insurance due to another medical condition and it did not affect my employment status. My employer knows because of the extended absences needed an explanation.
Avatar f tn If drug treatment is covered by your health insurance- can it be denied as a "pre-existing condition" if you were getting treatment and paying out of pocket before you got the insurance??? Anybody know? Someone told my son that because of ADA it cannot be denied. Anybody know?
Avatar n tn Partially due to his changing jobs over the years, his spontaneous spending habits, frequent moves form one place to another, and bad decisions made mostly by him. We have lost one house (mostly due to his lay off at Delta in 2001), we have lost several cars when he was laid off, or changed jobs, and he has not be able to make the salary he once made in real estate and Delta. This has affected hmi greatly becuase he feels that he struggles to provide for his family.
Avatar m tn The job situation is not directly related to the ACA in my opinion. The fragile state of the economy is at least half way responsible. Things are getting better, but they are far from great. More part time jobs says to me that employers are becoming a bit more satisfied or secure with the economy but are not willing to commit to hiring a gaggle of full time employees.
Avatar m tn During 2007 to 2009, I went through couple of dental problems and I did not know that I got infected with Hep. D (Delta virus) through dental. From 2007 to 2012, I did not go through any lab test. I came to know in 2012, when my lab test of Anti-HDV (antibody Hep. Delta Virus) came as Positive. After taking some herbal medicines for one year, my lab test of Anti-HDV became Negative in 2013. But my HBsAg titre level is still high and SGPT and SGOT are also high.
Avatar n tn hi, i don't have any dental insurance so I need to pick and choose which tests and procedures at the dentist are really needed. I ask you this because I hope to find unbiased opinion. Last time I skipped the peridontal xray, but got the cavity xray and cleaning...he found 2 tiny cavities that ran me $400 out of my pocket but later a hygenist said maybe that wasn't necessary as the decay could have been reversed... So what do I "really" need..
Avatar f tn Has any of you mommies had to switch insurance companies mid pregnancy due to quitting a job or changing jobs? What was your experience like?
Avatar f tn So my husband switched jobs about 3 months ago and the insurance was dropped yesterday. He hasn't been at work enough for insurance thru his new job...so now I'm here 4 months pregnant....with no insurance......son of a gun!
699970 tn?1228235830 We haven't had insurance for about 3 years, so my I am very concerned about my husband who was diagnosed about 5 years ago with chronic hep b. He was supposed to be followed up with, I believe annually, with the specialist. He went 2 times and his liver enzymes, back then, came out unchanged, but that was about 2 1/2 years ago. Right now, as a contractor, he is in-between jobs and we don't qualify for state help (or self insurance as he has a preexisting condition).
Avatar f tn My job don't offer insurance
1027870 tn?1252056250 yes you too can have a dental plan that most reputable dentists will not accept! i would love to go to a dental mill full of new, inexperienced dentists.
230262 tn?1316645934 Two of my front teeth just BROKE OFF today now!! I am absolutely horrified, it looks TERRIBLE as you might imagine and I have NO insurance at all. How am I gonna get this fixed?? These proofreading jobs are slowwww as all get out and certainly dont pay enough anyhow to finance the dental work I need (collectively I need 10 Grand to get all my teeth fixed- no BS that is the estimate I have printed out here and thats with their "discount special offer"!!!
Avatar n tn m having to juggle through insurance plans with different jobs, because it seems like private insurance is untouchable for me. Any help or advice would help.
Avatar n tn I have dental insurance but as we all know the coverage has been less and less over the past few years so I looked into dental discount programs. Did you know that some dental providers will accept both insurance and a dental discount plan togeather? It took me about 5 phone calls but I know it was worth it. On my first visit I had 3-cavitys filled. The cost after my insurance was $144. factor in the dental discount plan and my out of pocket cost was only $14!!! Check it out at http://www.
Avatar n tn My husband (40 y/o,healthy)and I (40 y/o, healthy) are looking to get our health insurance coverage from next present. Right now we are on cobra GHI( extension from my previous work place) but they are asking me to change to EMPIRE PPO or EPO since they will not have GHI. I did not have dental and vision coverage previously but even if I want it they are saying they cannot add it. They are also asking for a one year committment.
Avatar f tn I have just gotten over the fact that my mom will never accept my pregnancy and have been pretty content the past few days... Until today my husband told me "I need to start looking into some new jobs, something I want to do for the rest of my life." and I flipped out. He has AN AMAZING job, that people wait years to get on and he got on in 5 months. He just recently got hired on as a correctional officer for a local prison and it pays well, has great benefits and retirement.
Avatar n tn I am disabled on Original Medicare, have no intent to buy private insurance... I am wondering, is it possible for an individual to get real, stand alone dental insurance? Everything I've looked at caps yearly benefits at $1,000 or so which is completely insulting considering the premiums are close to half of that. Where can you buy dental insurance that gives you "REAL" coverage?

Avatar m tn i dont think stress or anxiety would add to dental problems. the only thing my dental anxiety did for my dental health was make me aviod regular check ups which lead to bigger problems which i get treated...yes im one of those people who go to the dds only wheni have pain!!! so did my anxiety make my teeth more unhealthy yes only because i didnt get regual cleanings and filings ect... i however do have valid medical problems which add to dental issues...I have R.A and sojourns disease...
Avatar f tn Does anybody else have stressful jobs? I feel like everyday it gets harder and harder to go back. I just started like 3 months ago. I only get 6 weeks unpaid time off. I'm a ftm and I don't think I will be going back once I have my baby in August. Now the problem is idk when to stop working. When are ladies planing to stop working?

Avatar f tn I have no medical insurance and I have an agressive cataract in my right eye that has made me legally blind in that eye. Does anyone know what the range of actual cost of cataract surgery sans insurance payments is. It would be mono focal and only the one eye. Any information would be appreciated.

Avatar m tn It's not what I eat, actually it's everyday all day...just out of nowhere. Unfortunately last time I went to the doctor he said it could've been somethin I ate but no answers. Now unfortunately I changed jobs and don't have insurance yet, so I can't go back to see the doctor.
