1312696 tn?1273765910 HI, Stress can be a factor causing delayed periods after two successive tooth surgeries. The surgery per se will not affect menses. Also for the pain in lower abdomen you should consult a gynaecologist for an opinion. Hope this helps.
Avatar n tn He went ahead and removed it, but said that it should not make a difference. Well my period stopped and the next month I had a regular cycle. The month after that I was pregnant! I have not had an irregular cycle since in 8 years. So listen to your body. Some of us have very sensitive bodies that don't like even a small thing out of place. Most doctors will tell you that one cyst will not cause problems, but in my body it did. Hope this helps.
Avatar f tn The thing is my boy friend and I had unprotected sex on the 25 I was wondering if there was any chance I could be pregnant or if my period was delayed because of the surgery. Anyone hot pregnant right after surgery? Or had their period delayed? This is my new time posting something like that.
Avatar n tn My period was supposed to start the day after surgery and it is 11 days after that. They did a pregnancy test the day of surgery and it was negative but I wasn't worried about that. Can surgery delay your period? They removed a little of endometriosis plus several cysts and some fibroids. Just wondering if anyone knows. Of course, I am 50 years old so maybe I am starting the change. Thanks.
Avatar f tn Okay so I recently had a breast augmentation in the beginning of march, I had my period 2 weeks before the surgery , the surgery was on march 20th, Since then I have not had a period, I am not on birth control I haven't been in a while but I have NOT been with anyone at all so i know i'm not pregnant, My husband left in January and that is the last time I was intimate with anyone. What could be the problem for me not having a period? should i be worried its something more serious?
Avatar f tn Hello, I had my period one day after my surgery to remove a cyst close to my kidneys. It was suppose to come around 10 days after my surgery but it came right after it. I didnt mind that. But my second period will be affected too? It's been one month since my last period and i have to symptoms whatsoever. I had sex one week ago but I used a condom so it must be very unlikely for me to be pregnant. So, is it normal for this to happen?
Avatar f tn I had surgery for endometriosis on the 17 th od December and my period was supposed to start on the 1 of January but I missed my period. The thing is my partner and I have been trying for a while and we has sex on Christmas eve. Could I have missed my period because im ppregnant? Has anyone gotten pregnant right after surgery?

Avatar n tn Anyway, reading the forums here, it seems that I could be having problems with delayed gastric emptying. Just wondering if there are others out there that have dealt with this. Also, could a low functioning gallbladder cause this or make it worse. Or vice versa, could delayed gastric emptying make your gallbladder not to function correctly? Any info would be appreciated!
Avatar f tn My endometrium was looked at 6 days ago via ultrasound and I was informed I was either going to have my cycle within 7 days or I'm pregnant. Anyone else just have a delayed cycle after lap? If so, how long??
Avatar f tn It is now June 7th and I still have NO PERIOD! Is this normal for my period to be so delayed like this after the surgery? I have NO desire for children at all. How long should I wait before I try a home pregnancy test? I'm a bit freaked that I didn't get my period before my surgery, after, and still have yet to have it. Any suggestions?
Avatar f tn The doctor advised me that my normal period should be a month after the surgery (Sept. 7), but up until now still no regular menstruation/ bleeding. How long didi it take before you have your regular bleeding after the surgery? Coz I'm quite worried I am delayed for a week now.

Avatar m tn They found I had an open book fracture of my pelvic ring and a fracture of my right Acetabulum. I had open reduction surgery on my Pelvic Ring and my right hip. This involved plating my pubic symsymopsis and two screws in my right hip joint.
Avatar n tn I had a complete miscarriage that started 12/28. Dr said that I'd get my AF 4-6 weeks. I got it exactly on time, very heavy and increased cramping. Now it's been 27 days and I still have not even started. I am learning fertility awareness and thought I ovulated on 2/23 with the 'normal' ovulatory pain I feel but still no period (and if you follow FAM no thermal shift in my waking temp). Anyone follow FAM or know if it's normal to have a delayed period after you've had a normal period? THX!
Avatar n tn I have a 3month old son who is GERD positive and has delayed gastric emptying. At 2 months he was diagosed with silent reflux and put on Zantac. He did very well for 1 week. He had his 2month shots and then spiraled out of control. He went to the hospital because he wasn't eating and his reflux seem extremely aggreviated. The hospital took adomial ex-rays (which were normal) and ran some blood tests that were normal. The hospital couldn't run certain tests because his blood kept clotting.
Avatar f tn Ok, am scheduled for this procedure on 16 july and was advised to get a zolpadex injection on first day of period. Its nearly 40 days and still no period! Not sure what to do, do I still need this op for heavy periods, do I need to cancel.
Avatar f tn I had been forgetting to take them all month, and had a very light period right before the surgery. Anyway, come June, I got my period in the middle of the month, like on the 14th, which was weird considering my periods usually come at the end of the month. Then, on the 24th, I lost my virginity. We used a condom and were careful, etc. Since then, my boyfriend and I have been having sex once a week, using a condom each time. Anyway, it is now the 17th and I've yet to get my period.
Avatar m tn Generally, doctors typically don't do vision correction surgery on teens since vision can change a great deal in the teens and early 20s. Typically surgery is delayed until someone's vision has been stable for some period of time, such as 2-3 years or more. Many laser vision correction places offer a free consultation, so you could go visit one and discuss your specific case, how long your vision has been stable at -11 diopters, and similar aspects of your individual situation.

Avatar n tn Hi, The periods can become irregular after an intensive surgery. The septum resection can affect the endometrial lining of the uterus. This can be one of the reasons for delayed periods. However it would be best to rule out a pregnancy by doing blood test for HCG. Consult your Doctor. The answer is based on information provided. Exact advice is not possible without a proper examination and investigations. You are requested to consult your Doctor. Take care and keep us posted.
