I am trying to put together a little book of positive notes for my sad days. Do any of you have songs that help you get through the tough days or quotes? I just want something I can keep with me whenever things get tough. I really want to go home, or atleast go outside.

I often find my wife often trying not to laugh at me if I happen to be in the car trying to sing along to one of my favorite songs on the radio because, even though I know the tune of the song very well, I still don't know a lot of the correct words (and I am talking about songs that I should know very well word for word).

I am so sorry for all you're going through. :( I have to agree with you though, I'm not into the quotes, either. I don't read them. There's is no interest in them to me. That and most of the jokes. I do laugh when i hear something that I think is funny, but to sick and read joke after joke, it's just not something that I want to take the time of my 'computer-time' to be doing.

Hey Ladies... I am looking for a good "jogging" stroller that is under $200. I put jogging in quotes because we are not hard core joggers so we don't need anything crazy expensive... just a stroller that will last on a 5 mile run. Gosh, I have so many favorites! What DON'T I like? Let's see, I like "Always on my mind", I heard he wrote that for Priscilla, it's so sad. He truly loved her. Um, I like "Can't help falling in love", "In the Ghetto", "I did it my way", "Tell me why", and of course I loved all his gospel songs, especially "Amazing grace" and "How great Thou art". My question is about these quotes I have been posting I would like to know if I posted some on religon would that offend anyone being that must would be refferancing Buddhsium but when you read the quotes the can be transfered into anyones faith so I would like to know if people would be offended thanks.

Sadly enough when i was severely depressed and at 30 painkillers a day and binge drinking (previous to getting help) I made a playlist of songs that i loved but made me feel sadder and wallow in the deep depression...the first song on the list was: Another morning stoner by "And you will know us by the trail of dead" Are you asleep, are you in a dream?

I have been seeing quotes from others and writing quotes, and others in detox are requesting more. He quotes lyrics to songs under his breath all....day.....long. Even in school and I had to get him in trouble for not paying attention in class. He mumbles, thinks that he talks loud when all of us can barely hear him, and he talks at awkward times. He talks in a mumble to himself while other people are talking, during a movie, while people are in conversation with other people;and what he mumbles almost always has NOTHING to do with the current situation.

For quite a few months now I have had bad nights due to songs going over and over again in my head. It can be different songs every night. I have tried counting sheep (literally) flat on my back in batches of 50 but before I know it that tune is back in my head. I can get up to use the toilet and on way back to my bed the song is back in my head. It is really worrying me and upsetting me as I am having very little sleep.

I've found comfort through music and quotes. I know you all probably have different musical preferences, but Rascal Flatts has a song "Stand," go youtube it! Awesome motivational song! Some of the lyrics....

Whether the Bible is your thing, or just random fortunes out of fortune cookies...or anything in between. I feel like words that you can twist and make fit to your life are always encouraging. I have the Tao Te Ching by Stephen Mitchell. I think it is only translated by him, though. I use this as some people use little calendar messages. They are just nice things to read and put a smile on your face. Things to remember throughout your day.

I am 22 weeks tomorrow and I'm scared to death of this pregnancy.... I'm not sure why, I.m just so afraid of the pain and after pain and ripping and my body and my parenting skills... im freaking out over this. I'm not very big at all either, I'm scared! What can I do to relax about all this??
