can you tell me if the vitamin E cream has helped you in the long run and if the dark skin in and around the corner of the lips has disappeared ? My son last July got thèse cold sores for the first time on his lips right after a conjunctivitis and healed from it but just few weeks later we had to travel to India and it turned more darker and visible...as if He was having a moustache ...guess that list the hot weather that have accelerated the darkness...
Over the summer I noticed that about 1/4 inch of the lips where it meets the lower lips turned to just brown from dark brown. Not sure if i caught it while shaving or what. I did go to the beach and not sure if that caused it either. Anyways, whenever my mouth is closed you can't notice it. When I open up my mouth though to talk, there is 1/4 inch where its just brown and then the dark coloration of my lips starts. Curious if there is any remedy to have that color come back or what?
your lips are beautiful just how they are. No need to cover them. be proud of them. you are different and unique. that's something to be proud of. Otherwise, i wouldn't know what you should do. unless you tattoo your lips a different color.
Im a 17 year old asian male with dark lips. I was born with lighter lips but i have neglected them when i was younger. I have always peeled and ate the skin of my lips (I know disgusting lol) when i was younger and they were chapped. Everytime i went to the dentists, when i'd have my teeth pulled and they used anesthesia i'd take very hot water and test on my lips to see how i can not feel the pain. I never really cared about my lips from about 5 years old to 13.
Some mornings or even during the day my eyeball will start to vibrate. I also get a slight vibration around the lips. This is not a twitch on the eyelid...it is absolutely the eyeball. I'll close my eyes and it seems I see things vibrating "in the dark" I'll open them and things still are vibrating. It's hard to explain and hope if someone reads this and has the same issues will recongize what I'm talking about.

I am a 22 year old female who for the last couple of years have suffered with darkening of lips. I suffer from eczema so i dont know if this is a contributory factor but i have periods where my lip darkens and but then goes away, only this time the lips is getting more pigmented and shows no signs of getting better. I starded lickin my lips when i was small they starded getting chapped then the chaped lips took off but then i got a dark ring around it and its embarrassing it looks like a mustache buht not that dark how can I take this off im 14?.......help please would a laser treatment work? You could try using Rescue Remedy at night after studying to help you relax and sleep. It sounds like you might be clenching and grinding your teeth at night to be so uncomfortable, so you could try a bite guard. If I notice my jaw feels tight and there is a band around my head, I open my jaw but keep my lips closed in an O shape to stretch the muscles in my face. This helps me detect tightness and stretch it out and relax my face.
