I think its both positive and negative. It teaches the kids the dangers of smoking/second hand smoke and the problems it can cause as well as the result od death. As for the negative, the kids with the smoking patents are now worrying about losing their parent(s) due to the day care. Im an ex smoker myself.

Hi. I'm just curious in people's opinions of something. I am an ex smoker. No longer have the habit. My child's daycare have been taught that smoking kills people etc.. so move away from people if they're smoking. A lot of parents from the daycare have come in abusing the child care Centre as they're smokers and there young children keep telling them they're going to die.
I am a post op bariatric patient who lost over 260 lbs. I have had surgeries yearly since 2004. I had complications with my bariatric surgery and ended up with MRSA. I have had my gall bladder removed, abdominalplasty, and a c section. I am scheduled for a inner thigh lift next week. I haven't given it much thought about the dangers and my history of MRSA until co workers starting vocalizing their concern about my healthy and quite frankly dying.

Such type of atrophied tissue can be due to sunken scars which is a common side effect of kenalog injections. Unfortunately for this type of scarring or pitting, there is no medical cream as such which can treat it but surgical excision by a good plastic surgeon, collagen filling and laser resurfacing have given promising results. I would therefore recommend these two.

While i was smoking it i noticed a strange taste so i dismantled the homemade bong and noticed that the top of the plastic pen (where the bowl was) was all warped with bubbles. The top of the pen had melted, and i was smoking some of the plastic fumes by accident! I now have a sore throat, it feels like my throat is burnt. This incident happened last Friday, and have been paranoid about it since.

re most likely laid up, I would like to suggest a website called whyquit.com. While your recovering, you can educate yourself on the dangers of smoking. You are very young and quitting now will be a lot easier than 10 or 20 years from now.
To answer your question simply though; YES, one or two cigs a day will hurt you!

Was someone else using the plastic tube before you used it? If so if they were just using it for smoking? If they just got saliva on it your risk is very low or no risk really if you are worried about HIV. Really, I don't see much risk if it was just used for smoking and you know who used it. If you don't know who used it and you think someone could have used it for sex that is different. As for licking your stool when you were a kid it was a long time ago don't worry about it.
With my baby brain I tuned on the wrong stove top/ hot plate, anyway I had a bag of frozen veggies leaning on the stove top/ hot plate and it melted as soon as I could smell the fumes from the melted plastic I opened windows and went up stairs but the smell won't go away !!
So, here I am, for the probably 4th time tapering off a 8-10/day hydro habit.
I am wondering...is this anything like quitting smoking? I smoked for 23 years, and could not imagine life without my "best friends", my cigarettes. I mean...what would I do when the phone rang, when I got in the car, after I was done eating, when I went out, sat next to the pool, etc etc. I remember thinking how will I EVER ENJOY life again without my cigarettes.
SIDS as well as second hand smoke dangers to you and you baby are important considerations in maintaining health for both of you. There are good prescription options for quitting smoking if your husband is willing to discuss them with his doctor. Chantix has had great success and well as Wellbutrin and quitting will keep him healthier for his baby too.

Why risk something that has been scientifically proven to affect an unborn fetus? Science was a whole lot different for our parent's generation, scientist know so much more about the dangers of smoking than before. I just couldn't see myself taking chances like that knowing as many negative stories about it.
Re-reading what I wrote and feel a bit daft! I do agree with everyone else here! I was ignorant myself of the dangers of it, so am more educated now thanks to the good people here. I feel stupid for stating that it's legal.
Alcohol is legal. It almost killed me and TG I haven't had a drink for several years. I wish I could take my post down. I agree that it is something to be more concerned with, and feel like my post was way too blase.

My daughter and her BF had a roomate that smoked that stuff. It's not good. Apparently it is herbs with something that they call synthetic THC. A bunch of chemicals. Here in Utah they are making it illegal because it's considered hazerdous. Google "smoking spice dangers" and there is alot of stuff on it. I think it is telling that there is a push in some states to legalize pot, and yet they are banning that stuff right and left.
