dandruff winter

Lately i have noticed i have dandruff, i heard of shampoo that gets rid of it, does anyone know any kind of shampoo or other thing that does, i have tried showering even More often then i do, which is alot, and it still doesnt go away, i want to get rid of it soon, only got it about a week ago. I have had dandruff in my hair.. it increases during winter. what should I do for this?

I've always had issues with Dry Scalp and Dandruff, particularly during the winter. Over the past couple years, I've also developed some sort of scalp sores that when picked at tend to bleed. They seem to continually come back. I've tried a number of shampoos - Head and Shoulders, Nizoral, Aveda Pureformance, T/Gel, American Crew, etc. with varying results.

Then just last summer I started having this pimples like rashes on my triceps and just this winter my dandruff got worst it spread to my nose and to my ears and to my eyebrows. Is this a sign that I have HIV? Help me please. :( Im very worried.

It started out of the blue, my scalp became very itchy and I could not help scratching it, when I scratched it, what appeared to be white flakes of skin came off. I thought this was just normal dandruff so bought Anti-dandruff shampoo (over the years I have tried every Anti-dandruff shampoo you can think of, even stuff from my GP).

Of course, a vet would likely know if they looked at it. But with the dandruff like description and the winter months where heaters run and humidity tends to be lower in the house, it seems as if dry skin is a possibility. You might try a humidifier in the area she spends most her time.

I've always dealt with dandruff in the winter, but I can't tell if the little white things in my hair are flakes or nits. I did the lice treatment, but nothing showed up when my hair was combed out. I have painful slightly itchy bumps and pimples on my scalp. I'm not insanely itchy, but I know you don't have to be super itchy to have lice. I don't know what else it would be if it's not lice, maybe the treatment didn't work. If it's not lice what is it?

My 2 yr old girl is having a dandruff but a lot and i used a lot of shampoo and even tea tree oil i tried it but its not working.and also her fingers are becoming dry and because its drying its having a wound at he end of the day.Please help me!

Hi, wondering if anyone has an answer for me. I used to get dandruff on and off and I used head & shoulders or others like it and it worked fine. This winter, however, my scalp has gotten extremly dry and itchy and flaky, and sore from all the scratching. I tried a bunch of more heavy duty OTC shampoos for dandruff, but none worked. I used an essential oils scalp massage and that worked for a bit. Now it is out of control and driving me crazy.

Okay I ned help my cat has dandruff and I am pretty sure it is coming from the lack of dry air here in the house it has been very cold.. So i am sure there isnt much mositure in the air... So are their any shampoos I can get to help clear this up for a cat like at petsmart??? Also he is on strict dry food diet because his tummy cant handle can food and he makes a very unpleasant mess.. im 25 years old male... i have compl;ain of dandruff from last 6, 7 years..... the doctors said its due to fungal infection( psoriasis) . i tried almost evry medicine, lotio, ol, creams... but all in vain.... now my front hair line is almost all damaged... i have very thick hair on my front side.. also the new hair grows but when i started itching my head that very new hair also falls with flakes of dandruff. please help me and suggest some medicine or anything...

i am having less hair, compared to the top and back hair of my head .. the only problem is that i have less hair on both sides.. it shows up clearly if i comb my side hair from back to front... and doesnt show when combed from front to back on my both sides ... Hi, names Max. I am seventeen years old and I have been suffering with extreme problems sleeping for.. 24 hours. Here's the catch, last winter, as in the winter of 2016-2017 for months was fighting with inability to sleep. I thought I got athlete's foot from the locker room because I always walked around bare foot like an idiot, logical conclusion. It wasn't, I tried every form of anti-fungal powder spray and lotion I could find and it only provided temporary relief.

When I was in 4th grade I started noticing dandruff in my bangs. I could see the dry skin there and growing up it was only in my bangs but over the years I noticed it going more over the top of my scalp. I don't get dandruff....or at least on my scalp...I seem to only get it on my forehead and eyebrows. This morning it was so bad that it looked like I had been peeling after a bad sunburn. Allergic to something in Noxzema...causes me to stop breathing. I have very sensitive skin as you can see.

My GI has me wash the riba rash areas with Head & Shoulders (or Selsun Blue) dandruff shampoo and then apply over the counter hydrocortisone cream. My rash is is on my face and you have to be very careful using hydrocortison cream around the eyes as it thins the skin. This ritual works but the minute you stop the rash does come back.

My tiny dog has so much dry skin. Its beyond considering it dandruff. I've been giving him flee baths about once a week. Maybe a little less then that. What could I put on his skin that could help this problem?

I surf all year around even in the winter here in New Hampshire(thick wetsuit, good, gloves, boots). Starting in January I started to get very chapped lips. In the shower it looks like wet dead skin around my lips(mostly on the bottom lip). They dry up if I don't constantly put Chapstick on. I was very scared it was something more than chapped lips. I had blood work done to see if it was std related, everything came back negative. A dermatologist diagnosed it as eczema on the lips.

She came in wet and I ot a towel to dry her, I noticed many white bits on her fur, got the wire brush and brushed her, it looks like dandruff do, cats get that ,its not flea eggs as when I looked through the magnifying glass you can se its like of flaky bits.. What can I do about it, are there dandruff shampoos .She's not been bathed as she hates water .Any ideas .
