A week ago I sustained a blunt impact to the right side of my mouth. There was minor abrassion, but no laceration, and the swelling subsided with ice after just a few days.
My concern is that I'm experiencing a strange issue with my upper lip in that area... When I try to compress my lips together, or create a very tight pucker, there is signifcantly decreased strength in that area, causing my mouth to look very lopsided.

Seborrheic dermatitis is non contagious and hence you cannot transmit it your girlfriend. The rash on the upper lip could have been due to her own seborrheic dermatitis or if it is itchy then we can think about any fungal infection which is contagious.
Regarding the bump, it looks like follciulitis after waxing or a small boil caused by a bacterial infection and this can be transmitted. Ask her to keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics.
In all probability you have a patch of dry scalp due to dandruff. Apply coconut oil twice a week and wash hair with anti-dandruff shampoo. For the last rinse, squeeze a lemon in a mug of water and rinse hair with that. If symptoms persist, consult a skin specialist.

I woke up this morning and i noticed a tingling feeling on my upper lip, when i looked in the mirror, i noticed a bump on my lip.
i didnt think anything of it and i left it alone, but throughout the day the tingling never went awat and it has gotten bigger, i tried putting vaseline on it but it only seems to be getting worse.
i dont know if it's a cold sore or a reaction to something,
i am no sexually active, and it's been a while since i kissed someone of the lips persay.
ive had these weird rashes or pimples on my hairline in the upper forehead extending a little bit into my scalp, they kinda look like pimples but they're a little bit lighter in color.. and it kinda produces dandruff like stuff..
For as long as I can remember, I've always had an upper lip discoloration. The upper lip area is completely lighter than the rest of my face! There's a distinct noticeable line between where my nose/cheek and upper lip meet (so basically it looks like a line that curves downwards from both sides of my nostrils)..anything under that line is freakishly white and anything above that line is really red.
I have a very itchy rash on my upper vaginal area for months now. It cannot be an STD because it started when I was not sexually active at the time and I had been tested before that (all results were negative). It is one patch and feels very itchy with scaly, flaky skin. I have also been suffering from dry skin in general and dandruff on my scalp, not sure if this is all related.
I have the same issue only on the upper lip the bumps look larger than before. It swelled up causing the entire upper lip to swell. I searched over the internet but not many results many had the same issue. The swelling lasted overnight and no pain or visible blisters. once again it was only on the upper lip.

The cradle cap has been present off/on since infancy. I plan on trying an OTC dandruff shampoo to see if that will help.
Can both the facial rash and flared up cradle cap be related? Is there other OTC options for treatment or should I bite the bullet and schedule an appointment with a dermatologist?
What does it mean when your upper lip tingles when your eyes water? I have had a problem for a while with my eyes constantly watering. No one seems to understand why. Recently I noticed that my upper lip tingles when my eyes start to water. I told my eye doctor and he says that contacts will help with the watering but what about the tingling.
I have a red patch on my upper lip that is red, dry, but no blister and does not itch. It burns when I get somethign acidic on it. I noticed that I had a blister under my tongue a few day ago. I was wondering if it is possible to have eczema without the affected area getting red? I have had patches of dry flaky skin on my eyelids (upper and lower) for about a month now and I've been trying moisturizers and allergy medication with little help. First, could this truely be eczema and second how should it be treated when it occurs around the eyes.
