Dandruff treatment using lime

Common Questions and Answers about Dandruff treatment using lime

dandruff

Avatar n tn Some people can eliminate dandruff entirely with diligent shampoo applications, while others may always have naturally flaky scalps. However, using dandruff shampoo should radically improve the condition; if the dandruff persists or grows worse, it may be a sign of psoriasis, seborrhoeic dermatitis, or even lice. These conditions require medical treatment to improve. Let us know if you need any other information. Regards.
Avatar m tn One year ago I had good volume of hair but currently I had lost more hair reason because of dandruff. I feel very embarrassed. I was using coconut oil for my hair from my childhood and was still using it. But from one week I stopped using oil because when I use it now my hair look less and to hide it I don't use it. When I don't use oil my hair looks more. I am also using shampoo for my hair. I wash my hair daily from my childhood till now.
Avatar f tn are u serious u cant use dandruff shampoo ?? ive been using head and shoulders .. holly **** i had no idea ..... O.
Avatar m tn Also try to keep your hair free of dandruff by using good antidandruff shampoos. You can also apply benzoyl peroxide creams or clindamycin cream on the acne. If the symptoms persist, then oral antibiotics may be needed. For the scars of acne, treatments with acids and chemical peels can be effective but can take a while for the skin to totally revert to its normal color. Microdermabrasion can also be done, but this might require several sessions.
Avatar f tn The first doctor prescribed a steroid cream and told me to wash my hair with dandruff shampoo and put a little of the suds in my ears and on my groin. The steroid cream worked for a couple of weeks and then stopped. A few years later a second doctor gave me samples of an anti-fungal cream and told me to use it. That did nothing. So basically I've been itching non-stop and clawing my body up pretty good for 15 years.
Avatar m tn Method 1: lime chicken. Original post is cut four lime half and cook with chicken with water. Add only very little salt or no salt. Drink the soup; eat lime, chicken (if you like). Someone also tried pork, shrimp or even egg, results seem same. Chicken are used for taste only, don’t use too fat chicken.
Avatar n tn Hello, It can be due to dandruff, eczema or fungal infection. Dandruff can cause either an overly dry scalp with itchy white flakes that may be waxy or greasy, or it can manifest as an oily scalp with scales. Eat a healthy diet. You can also take vit B6 and vit A and E which are good for hair and skin. Try medicated shampoos for dandruff. There are a number of over-the-counter shampoos available that can help.
Avatar n tn I have been suffering from dandruff for more than 10 years. I have tried Nizoral, coal tar, head and shoulder, selsum blue etc but nothing seems to help. Especially in 3 area in my head near the centre, I big circle of dandruff forming. They can be almost the size of dime. Its thicken , raised flaky transparent skin layer with dots. I have been noticing this for atleast 4 years now. I scratch and take it out but it rebuilds in just couple of day in the excact location.
Avatar f tn I read on about.com that using a corticosteroid should only be used to reduced the redness and then use dandruff shampoo for maintenance , but like I said the dandruff shampoo is not working, it is actually making things more red and it slightly burns. Is there an alternative to Desonide? That will give me the same results and not ruin my skin later in life?
Avatar f tn I knew i had been itchy before then but i became paranoid again and insisted on being treated once again - i found nothing again and am still itchy - the itchyness now has a slight burning sensation i have noticed - im thinking that this is because of using headlice treatment twice in the same week? I really wish i knew what was wrong with my scalp - ill accept anything as long as it isnt lice - perhaps the treatment just wont work?
Avatar n tn t anything visible except dandruff, so is my hair loss without scalp disease? My father has dandruff too but not hair loss. so, is my hair loss associated with tinea? Once I did take pills suggested by a dermatologist but that did not really help.

Avatar f tn Seborrheic dermatitis on the scalp can be treated effectively by using an anti-dandruff dandruff shampoo containing ketoconazole or salicylic acid or selenium sulfide. If symptoms recur, you may again begin with the treatment prescribed by your dermatologist. Take care.
Avatar n tn Hey Paul, I suffer from the same problem as you. I am a male and am 18 years old and also suffer from seborrheic dermatitis. Ive done a great deal of research on this condition and have realized that hair loss commonly occurs with this condition when it becomes more severe (This occurs because when the dry scales of skin lift up, they sometimes adhere to the hair and take-out the hair with them).
Avatar m tn I myself have had the same sort of thing lucky you had no burning it does sound like seborrhiec dermatitis using an anti dandruff shampoo such as nizorelle (costs about £5.00) contains ketocozanle which acts as an anti fungal ingredient and can also be used as a body wash (so my doc informs me) in the dry hair only formulation it uses collagen to nourish and repair the hair shaft as well as improving overall condition.

Avatar n tn I've been doing a lot of reading and have concluded that I have facial seborrheic dermatitis. Red, dry, scaly patches starting from the creases of my nose and expanding outward onto the cheek area next to the nose. Through my search I've read that using anti-dandruff shampoos like Head and Shoulders on the face can drastically improve the condition of the affected areas. I started with this treatment about 3 days ago and appear to be responding well to it.
Avatar f tn I am on week 11 of treatment, interferon and riba, about 2 weeks ago, my scalp started to get very itchy, I have used a variety of different shampoos for dandruff, none seem to work on helping the itch. It seems to be worse in the evening when I'm finally relaxing. Is this common and does anyone have any suggestions?
17551709 tn?1457744886 When I was younger I did have significant dandruff. For years I've been using tea tree shampoo from ogx, its basically solved my dandruff problem. Good luck! http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?
