dandruff problem in singapore

This is the 3rd summer in a row that I have been having problems with my scalp. I have been kind of keeping track and every year, for the last 3 years, I have gotten an itchy scalp that feels a lot like a normal dry scalp in the month of July and lasts until about March the next year. It is set off by me itching it or the scalp getting irritated by any kind of touch (ie hood, hat, someone else touches it) There is no redness or allergen like bumps of any kind.

i have great dandruff problems on my scalp. i try lots of shampoo but no improve. for this reason i lose my hair and on my scalp there r also itching problems. and also i have alargic problems on my skin like itching. so what i do now??? to save my hair...please inform me.. bye...

i dont know if its dandruff or wat, but it doesnt come in flakey form. it comes in tiny hair forms. they are white dust like particles which are in my hair and they never run out. what may the cause be and what should i do to stop it? i used to wash my hair every day/twice a day if i play ball. for the last 3 days ive tried shampooing every other day, but i do still wash my hair with water. but no good, there are still a massive amount of dust in my hair. What sort of illness is this?

my thoughts exactly, Poke. I have a similar problem, more predominant in the winter. I talked with my stylist about it, and she gave me sample bottles of Nioxin. The original ones she gave me didn't do much, but when we switched to the formula for colored hair it worked great. Talk to you salon and see if they have some sample or smaller (hence, cheaper) bottles that you can try. As with all salon products, you're going to spend a little more, but hey...if it helps...it helps.

I've had the same problem all throughout my pregnancy. I'm 25 weeks right now. I use coconut oil... and also loreals total repair shampoo seems to be the only shampoo that doesn't make it worse. Hope this helps!

I never had dandruff problems before pregnancy, but once I entered my 2nd trimester my scalp is dry and I have lots of dandruff. Anybody else have this problem and a solution? Does it go away after the baby is born?

I think this resulted in me developing serious dandruff. its been a problem for a while now. I think there is some hairloss and scalp is very dry and itchy. Everytime I run my fingers through my hand i can see flakes falling down. I plan on shaving my head and start applying some cream. Can you recommend any medicine or any remedies. I first started getting dandruff a while back; now I have spots that are very visible, especially when I get out of the shower. They don't really itch or hurt but they do have a redness to them, but its just really dry patches; I've tried treating them with over-the-counter dandruff shampoo but to no avail. I also have a dry-skin problem on my face and my doctor gave me Ketoconazole cream which helped, but the same cream does not remedy my scalp problems.

So I know pregnancy causes dry skin. Today I just noticed I have dandruff :( and my lips are chapped and they never are :( did y'all experience this?

Please help my fiance. His symptoms: intermittent redness on tops of cheeks w/itchiness, intermittent dry red patches on forehead, intermittent redness on bridge of nose w/excessive oil production.
