which is like dry flakes on the baby scalp that sometimes need a medicine or what ever ot is that you can buy at cvs or walmart and the flakes get scraped off...

It cold be fungal infection, it could be jock itch, it could be a rash, or allergic reaction, it could be STD (crabs) it could not be. Most of the time what you are describing is not an STD related matter.

I researched this and things led to crabs, but I observed this area and havent seen anything move or anything that looked like crabs (just these tiny white flakes would could be nits?) however I do shave down there and get dry skin, so could that be it?

It could simply just be dry skin or dandruff. Find something cream in the pharmacy at your grocery store and see if that helps. The only STD that could even be wouldn't technically be an std is lice like crabs. I imagine you've checked yourself out pretty thoroughly and you would have noticed lice. But I think it is simply dry skin which can be itchy and annoying.

Does this look more like dandruff or psoriasis? It didn't used to be so bad but it's gotten worse and encroaching onto my forehead. I've also used dandruff shampoos to no avial. The weird thing is, it's only this dry and scaly job st after a shower. The next day it's hardly noticeable.

Ok so for about 3 weeks now I have had an itchy scalp. I thought it was just from dandruff, which I get from this time of year, along with an itchy scalp. The skin between my anus and my scrotum(and partly on my scotum) is itchy. I examined it, and I did not have any warts or skin raised or lesioned. The doctor also examined my genitals severals weeks ago and did not notice any abnormalities. But it started itching quite a bit, AFTER I went to the doctor. Can it be HPV or Herpes, being that there is no warts/lesions on the area that itches? Or should I just forget about this STD thing?

Nair is not approved to be used in that area, you have irritated the area and need to leave it alone and maybe try some lotion to help sooth the burning. There is special shampoo for crabs. If you think you have them then wash everything you have and buy the shampoo.

Hello, I am 21 and have been really stressed for the past year or so. I think this resulted in me developing serious dandruff. its been a problem for a while now. I think there is some hairloss and scalp is very dry and itchy. Everytime I run my fingers through my hand i can see flakes falling down. I plan on shaving my head and start applying some cream. Check food allergies like wheat or dairy or nuts. Find out if you have a zinc deficiency with a blood test. Decrease sugar intake and increase vegetables.

I believe you're overthinking it. Greasy hair has nothing to do with patm. I can greasy hair as well if I don't shower in 2 or 3 days. And I used to have dandruff (if you call that film) like crazy way before I developed patm. To have greasy hair and dandruff is normal.
