dandruff

Avatar n tn Please help! Large skin flakes with hairs still attached to them keep falling out of my scalp. The hairs cannot be easily plucked from the skin flakes and they appear healthy and normal. There are sometimes even 6-7 hairs on one flake that are about 6 mm in diameter. I'm 25 year old male Caucasian. I don't use hair-colour, blow-dryer nor anything for hairstyling. I comb it very gently but I still keep on finding these hair chunks with skin falling out.
Avatar m tn It smells foul, the skin flakes like dandruff, and it was only on my thighs at first now it has traveled to my penis. My fiancée and I were very sexually active with one another, until this. To get a better answer, I'll explain more. It started as just flaking, I itched it, and skin peeled right off under my finger nails. Then it began to smell, and then it started being painful, and slightly bloody. Then today, my penis has been attacked. Please help doc. Thanks Stef.
Avatar f tn I randomly felt my sideburns and scratched the area a little and my skin started coming of in small flakes (as if its dandruff )and now the skin is irritated ,it burns when i try to move the small hair's aside to have a better look .And still I can't really see it, for a while the skin looked bumpy but I guess it was an illusion .
Avatar f tn Hello. I'm a 20 year old male and during the fall season of 2012 my scalp started really iching and my hair started to shed severely around the crown region. During this time I also had dandruff. This itchyness and dandruff persisted for about another 3 months, that's when I jumped on Nizoral 1%. It stopped the dandruff and the itching, but till this day I'm shedding and its very noticable. My hairloss started at the crown and has worked its way up to my hairline.
Avatar n tn After finishing the Clobex treatment (which did not help) I went off all prescription shampoos and started using all natural Neem shampoo which got rid of the dandruff. But the hair continued to fall. I went back to my regular doctor to get hormones, thyroid, allergies, vitamins and everything else tested and it all came back fine, except a copper and zinc deficiency.
Avatar n tn Hi, thanks for the query, These are usual sites for acne to develop specially back where its not easy to clean the area. All you do is use a good soap and a bath scrub gently over uninflamed areas. Take two baths daily, also use neem water for bath. Don't use oils and if needed a dermatologist will certainly help you. Wish you good health.
Avatar m tn guys if u suffer from high blood pressure, digestive problems, skin problems, and anxiety you should try neem its amazing healing herb.my anxiety is being reduced by this and i feel good everytime i chew it.
Avatar m tn Change your pillow case every night. Try neem shampoo. Be sure to wash your ears and face with the neem soap. Try tea tree oil on the rash areas. It even clears up toenail fungus.
4744872 tn?1358719152 Neem soap? That is actually one I haven't heard of. Thank you very much. =) I will check my local market for this wonderful sounding soap. I looked it up and found this article rather helpful. http://www.discoverneem.com/neem-soap.html Thank you!
Avatar f tn m not sure if taking any form of neem internally is safe, although you may want to read up and see if the neem leaf type is safe. I have never used it that way and my understanding is that it can be poisonous, at least in some form.
Avatar f tn Neem soap will probably help you more than anything else. Folliculitis is caused by a bacterial infection usually. Neem soap controls bacteria, fungus and viruses. You can order it on line.
Avatar f tn I would use neem shampoo. It could be a sebaceous cyst or folliculitis or a reaction to a food allergy. Try the neem shampoo or see a dermatologist.
Avatar f tn Neem shampoo will sooth your scalp and smooth your hair. It's amazing. I'd suggest neem soap as well. Try to keep your hands out of your hair when you aren't washing it. Be gentle when you comb it, keeping comb off your scalp. If you must use conditioner, only use neem oil conditioner. Find out what is added to your water such as ammonia or chlorine and get a water filter for your shower that will filter those chemicals out.
Avatar f tn Use neem and Turmeric powder mix.. Apply it over the skin and hot water bath.. Can use neem oil also.
1676693 tn?1325747165 -you can make a strong tea using Neem Leaf(NOT THE OIL, never use any form of oil on a cat...neem oil/tea tree oil NO>>) the herb and 1/2 a lemon cook in small amount of water for about 20min than bath kitty in this and leave it on...(or dab on if bathing is a real problem)..warning neem leaf has a very unpleasant smell. a flea treatment for the home is to get some flat pie plates or saucers and add abt 1/4 full of water with a few drops of dish liquid.
Avatar f tn Try neem soap and other neem products. I would not ingest it, but use it on your skin.
