Please help! Large skin flakes with hairs still attached to them keep falling out of my scalp. The hairs cannot be easily plucked from the skin flakes and they appear healthy and normal. There are sometimes even 6-7 hairs on one flake that are about 6 mm in diameter. I'm 25 year old male Caucasian. I don't use hair-colour, blow-dryer nor anything for hairstyling. I comb it very gently but I still keep on finding these hair chunks with skin falling out.
It smells foul, the skin flakes like dandruff, and it was only on my thighs at first now it has traveled to my penis. My fiancée and I were very sexually active with one another, until this. To get a better answer, I'll explain more. It started as just flaking, I itched it, and skin peeled right off under my finger nails. Then it began to smell, and then it started being painful, and slightly bloody. Then today, my penis has been attacked. Please help doc.

I randomly felt my sideburns and scratched the area a little and my skin started coming of in small flakes (as if its dandruff )and now the skin is irritated ,it burns when i try to move the small hair's aside to have a better look .And still I can't really see it, for a while the skin looked bumpy but I guess it was an illusion .
Hello. I'm a 20 year old male and during the fall season of 2012 my scalp started really iching and my hair started to shed severely around the crown region. During this time I also had dandruff. This itchyness and dandruff persisted for about another 3 months, that's when I jumped on Nizoral 1%. It stopped the dandruff and the itching, but till this day I'm shedding and its very noticable. My hairloss started at the crown and has worked its way up to my hairline.
After finishing the Clobex treatment (which did not help) I went off all prescription shampoos and started using all natural Neem shampoo which got rid of the dandruff. But the hair continued to fall.
I went back to my regular doctor to get hormones, thyroid, allergies, vitamins and everything else tested and it all came back fine, except a copper and zinc deficiency.

These are usual sites for acne to develop specially back where its not easy to clean the area. All you do is use a good soap and a bath scrub gently over uninflamed areas. Take two baths daily, also use neem water for bath. Don't use oils and if needed a dermatologist will certainly help you.

I would use neem shampoo. It could be a sebaceous cyst or folliculitis or a reaction to a food allergy. Try the neem shampoo or see a dermatologist.
Neem shampoo will sooth your scalp and smooth your hair. It's amazing. I'd suggest neem soap as well. Try to keep your hands out of your hair when you aren't washing it. Be gentle when you comb it, keeping comb off your scalp. If you must use conditioner, only use neem oil conditioner. Find out what is added to your water such as ammonia or chlorine and get a water filter for your shower that will filter those chemicals out.
Use neem and Turmeric powder mix.. Apply it over the skin and hot water bath.. Can use neem oil also.
anyone else have dandruff & greasy hair constantly since getting pregnant?
Lately i have noticed i have dandruff, i heard of shampoo that gets rid of it, does anyone know any kind of shampoo or other thing that does, i have tried showering even More often then i do, which is alot, and it still doesnt go away, i want to get rid of it soon, only got it about a week ago. Ive always suffered from dandruff and so i used T-gel and capisal anti-dandfuff shampoos, but when i got pregnant my doc told me not to use them because of coal tar and so i stopped, it also says on the back of the bottle not reccomended during pregnancy, its been 9 weeks and my head is soo itchy its driving me mad :( .. Anyone know any good natural ways to get rid of it?
He suffers from constant dandruff regardless of what shampoos are used. We have been to many dermatologist for prescription shampoos with no luck.
