Avatar f tn anyone else have dandruff & greasy hair constantly since getting pregnant?
Avatar f tn I believe you're overthinking it. Greasy hair has nothing to do with patm. I can greasy hair as well if I don't shower in 2 or 3 days. And I used to have dandruff (if you call that film) like crazy way before I developed patm. To have greasy hair and dandruff is normal.
Avatar n tn Is anyone else experiencing horribly greasy hair, dandruff & oily skin? I'm on my 11th week & 3 days. This started at some point around 6 or 7 weeks. Before that I was the complete opposite and had very dry hair & skin.

Avatar n tn For the last 10 years I have had a problem with my scalp. It started out of the blue, my scalp became very itchy and I could not help scratching it, when I scratched it, what appeared to be white flakes of skin came off. I thought this was just normal dandruff so bought Anti-dandruff shampoo (over the years I have tried every Anti-dandruff shampoo you can think of, even stuff from my GP).
Avatar f tn my hair and scalp are dry, not greasy - even if i go 3 days between shampoos my hair is not greasy. the flakes are small and white and not oily. Avatar f tn Hello all, I've had this issue for as long as I remember and can't figure out what it is... I have black hair, so it is especially noticeable. I consistently have tiny white tubes around my hair strands... they are not numerous, and tiny (1-2mm long) and if you are standing at a normal speaking distance you probably would not notice them. They quite literally wrap around my hair...

Avatar m tn Now, the skin is greasy with mild redness/itching sometimes. I lose hair pretty infrequently, maybe a couple hairs a week. But it has become pretty noticeable over time. So with seborrhea, will the hairs grow back? Any products I can use to restore growth? Also, in addition to the zinc shampoo I use (which has worked well and apparently is used for dermatitis anyway), can you recommend any other treatments?

Avatar f tn So I am a little over 6 weeks and am so annoyed with my hair right now. It has all of the sudden decided to be really greasy if I dont wash it every day and also I now have flakes!!! Have any of you experienced this as a symptom? I have started using some maleluca oil to help but it is so annoying and gross! I dont always have time to shower everyday because of having 2 and 1 year old and a busy schedule and it has never been an issue...now I feel icky if I dont have one every day.

Avatar m tn Hi I've just found this forum and I'm delighted! I have to wash my hair EVERY day and by lunchtime it smells bad, more so on my scalp but my hair too! I've tried T-Gel, Nizorel, Vosene, Sulphur shampoo, anti dandruff stuff prescribed by the doctor (who actually didn't believe me, she clearly didn't get close enough!) and I'm starting to get paranoid, not to mention worried about the condition of my hair due to constant washing, drying straightening.

Avatar n tn It is a coal tar product which can be left to work on the scalp without making your hair greasy. It is not a cure, but it definitely removes ALL my symptoms if I use it regularly. The effectiveness of all other products, including Nizoral, diminishes with time (although Nizoral will seem like a miracle cure initially!). I've used Psoriasin for years without the dreaded gradual tolerance building up.
