Dr Hagan, 50 days ago i developed a small bump in my right superior eyelid. Painless and very firm. Almost 100% sure that its a chalazion.
3 weeks later, right next to this possible chalazion, my eyelid became red, itchy, with a little pain, like if i had something in my eye. Some light sensitivity and crusting. I also noticed that my eyelashes had something very similar to dandruff. Possible Anterior Blepharitis.
Today, the bump and the redness remains, unchanged.
i was told i have MILD MGD and bit of allergy on my right eyelid and left eyelid just mild MGD.. he gave me a sterioid drop tobramycin and dexamethasone only for the right side and he told me i HAVE to do warm compress for for 2-3 mins two times a day.. the steroid drop kind pretty much stopped the inflamed eyelid margin but it DOES NOT GO DOWN NO MATTER WHAT I TRY!! I do warm compress for 5-10 mins at 6pm and at 12AM EVERYDAY!! i massage it while im during the compress.
However every morning i wake up with dry eyes, and the inside corner of my eyelid is always very itchy and sore. The lid scrubs have helped my eye lids but seem to have made the itchiness and soreness of the inside corner of my lids worse.
It was particularly bad last night and this morning i woke up with 2 large crusty lumps on both my eyelids right in the inside corners of them. As hot compresses dont really reach that narrow area of the eye i am a bit lost as to what to do.
Next day, I dropped it 2times, but I felt so itch again. I notice my eyelid rims are red, some eyelashes failed off with some tiny peeled skin like dandruff.
I feel my eyes are weak and dry, so I visited another eye Dr. He said my eyes are fine just only my eyelids are inflamed. So, he gave me Opticron, Maxitrol eyedrops, and TelFast pills. Than I need to back to the clinic next week. I really want to know what is the real cause of my eyelid inflamed. How long will it go away? Can it cure?
I have eyelid problem on and off for couple of months now. Part of the upper eyelid get puffy after a night's sleep. It is red and somewhat itchy and somewhat hard to open the eye(s). When the swollen got down, the skin in the area would become flaky. I do not have allergy and have not been using any eye makeup for a while. I appreciate any advice or suggestion on remedies.
I used to have dandruff, but it has essentially cleared after using zinc shampoo a few times a week. But the skin is still greasy under my brow and on my eyelid, which results in hairs being weak and falling out. Any suggestions to clear up the greasy skin? I've tried hydrocortisone cream, but to little avail. Also, the condition seems to worsen after a night of drinking alcohol - is that part of the problem?
THIS ISSUE IS NOT NEAR MY EYELASHES IT IS THE UPPER EYELID PROPER. It is most itchy in the crease of my upper eyelid and more recently has edged slightly toward the nose area of upper eyelid - it is all a bit itchy when I am going through a bout.
The skin on upper eyelid now looks like fine creased cigarette paper - very different than the outer edges on my upper eyelids - a visual difference of about 20 years - a very strange affect.
No big deal, a few months later i noticed a lot of dandruff. 6 months after that the sides of my scalp started to thin a little bit. Then my eyebrows started thinning the same way my hair did. Now i can visibly see hair falling out all over my scalp but the thing that worries me the most is the hair falling from my eyebrows. My scalp flakes a lot and it always produces these little hard keratinized bulbs when the hair falls our.
I have been seeing a Tear Duct Specialist and he has me on Aszite drops and Erthyromycin eyelid ointment, plus Doxycycline. During my last three office visits, he has probed and irrigated my tear ducts. They have improved quite a bit. I have to continue the medications and may have to continue for a long time.
anyone else have dandruff & greasy hair constantly since getting pregnant?
Lately i have noticed i have dandruff, i heard of shampoo that gets rid of it, does anyone know any kind of shampoo or other thing that does, i have tried showering even More often then i do, which is alot, and it still doesnt go away, i want to get rid of it soon, only got it about a week ago. Thx for ur answers.
Ive always suffered from dandruff and so i used T-gel and capisal anti-dandfuff shampoos, but when i got pregnant my doc told me not to use them because of coal tar and so i stopped, it also says on the back of the bottle not reccomended during pregnancy, its been 9 weeks and my head is soo itchy its driving me mad :( .. Anyone know any good natural ways to get rid of it?
He suffers from constant dandruff regardless of what shampoos are used. We have been to many dermatologist for prescription shampoos with no luck.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
I think this resulted in me developing serious dandruff. its been a problem for a while now. I think there is some hairloss and scalp is very dry and itchy. Everytime I run my fingers through my hand i can see flakes falling down. I plan on shaving my head and start applying some cream. Can you recommend any medicine or any remedies. I would really appreciate some help.
