and now when i am using that medication again .....its not working...n i fell it is sort of dandruff type because whenever i rub my forehead i get some white stuff on my fingers.....plz help me ......
Hair loss can also be due to dandruff, dermatitis, shampoos, oils, soaps, dust and dirt etc. Thyroid disorders and diabetes too could be a cause. m going off of what I vaguely remember lol. There are 3 causes for dandruff dry scalp, oily scalp, and a fungus. The condition of your scalp is what is going to tell u which treatment to use. One remedy is ad easy as shampooing everyday and using less conditioner on your scalp. You should also try using a clarifying shampoo and a moisturizing conditioner.

Dandruff can cause either an overly dry scalp with itchy white flakes or it can manifest as an oily scalp with scales. It can be due to internal or external causes. Internal causes include hormonal imbalance, poor health, poor hygiene, allergic hypersensitivity, lack of rest, emotional stress, excessive consumption of sugar, fat or starch and heredity predisposition.
It can also be due to hyperthyroidsm. Anxiety, migraine, Multiple Sclerosis, and diabetes are the other causes. Since you also have heaviness in the chest, these causes are to be eliminated.
If there is a history of unprotected sex or of blood transfusion or use of street drugs then test for HIV too.

External causes include excessive use of hair sprays and gels, improper use of hair-coloring products, cold weather and dry indoor heating, infrequent shampooing of the hair or inadequate rinsing of the scalp and hair.
I started off with an itchy scalp about 4-5 weeks ago - i then noticed i had some dandruff - i wasn't too concerned intil i found myself itching quite a lot - ive had dandruff before and it generally goes soon enough and doesn't cause too much itching. Anyway i started to become paranoid thinking i had lice - as my cousins were visiting i thought perhaps i had got lice from one of them. However nobody was itching but me.
For what it is worth...here is what I think.
First..you must see a dermatologist. Those dandruff shampoos are the worst thing you can try and will most definitely not stop the sort of itching you describe.
A lot of things can be causing the intense itch. After much experimenting...i use Clobex...prescribed by my derm. I don't have dandruff...never have...i do have outbreaks of psorisis (spelling?)..but what causes the itch is unimportant to me...stopping it is.
