Hi Everyone, around a month ago my alt was 176 and going to start my treatment next week. Now a days i feel very very itchy specially on face and head. all of a sudden i have a whole lot of dandruff all over my head. i even used anti dandruff shampoo everyday but didn't help. is this because of Hep c? i have genotype 3. Please englighten me.
and now when i am using that medication again .....its not working...n i fell it is sort of dandruff type because whenever i rub my forehead i get some white stuff on my fingers.....plz help me ......
What possibly that could be ? I have sebboric dermtitis too and dandruff too. She also had a nodular acne like bump on her arm which lasted for quite a while and she said she never had that before too. I suffer from acne too. What possible disease i could have transferred to her, which is manifestion into these symptoms. Any clues ? Thanks a lot.
No one else in the family has it and the children and I often share hair brushes so it does not seem contagious. I had grandma double check but no one else's head stinks and my younger kids actually smell really good.
During the summer when she swims in a clorinated pool and washes her hair every day the smell subsides. Which makes me think it is fungal or oil. During the winter her hair looks oily and stinks immediately after she washes her hair.

First, to sooth my scalp, I am using chemical-free shampoos and conditioners (often with tea tree). I use them after a dandruff treatment, the t/gel dandruff shampoo set that contains 3 types of dandruff control, all of them are anti-fungal. I also use tea tree or sea buckthorn soap, which are natural antibacterials. (not sure that is needed, now i think it is a fungus).
To sooth my skin, I use jojoba oil and chemical-free lotions. The olive oil hair product from Hollywood Products also helps.

m going off of what I vaguely remember lol. There are 3 causes for dandruff dry scalp, oily scalp, and a fungus. The condition of your scalp is what is going to tell u which treatment to use. One remedy is ad easy as shampooing everyday and using less conditioner on your scalp. You should also try using a clarifying shampoo and a moisturizing conditioner.

I started off with an itchy scalp about 4-5 weeks ago - i then noticed i had some dandruff - i wasn't too concerned intil i found myself itching quite a lot - ive had dandruff before and it generally goes soon enough and doesn't cause too much itching. Anyway i started to become paranoid thinking i had lice - as my cousins were visiting i thought perhaps i had got lice from one of them. However nobody was itching but me.
