hi, Yes this may be Rosacea, the only difference being that Rosacea usually involves the central part of th face and not all the parts of the face. Further, there may not be such bumps in the case of a typical case of Rosacea. You may get this examined from a dermatologist to get a better indication. Hi Everyone, around a month ago my alt was 176 and going to start my treatment next week. Now a days i feel very very itchy specially on face and head. all of a sudden i have a whole lot of dandruff all over my head. i even used anti dandruff shampoo everyday but didn't help. is this because of Hep c? i have genotype 3. But from last 3 days I am getting very bad white flakes on face. My face is tight and some time applying lotion burns my face. White flakes have appeared first time on my face. I am very scared does this resembles dermatitis? I also have little bit itching on face. Face doesn't look dry to me..I have oil on nose. No red rash as of now. Will it occur in late stage? The first doctor prescribed a steroid cream and told me to wash my hair with dandruff shampoo and put a little of the suds in my ears and on my groin. The steroid cream worked for a couple of weeks and then stopped. A few years later a second doctor gave me samples of an anti-fungal cream and told me to use it. That did nothing.
