I have had 3 DCR's, and an Ectropion in the past 3 years. I had the Jones tubes inserted in January. The Jones tubes are now out of place and I am having surgery next week to go in and find them out. Has anybody else had these problems? My eyes water almost non-stop and it is affecting my work.

I had Jones tubes implanted five weeks ago. My left eye tube looks, feels and functions fine. My right one, however, became swollen with a small bump developing in the corner of the eye, and it is painfull. The right tube has migrated upward and is malpositioned. Surgeon says to take an antibiotic for a week and then he'll reposition the tube.

HI, I had a jones tube inserted in my eye on Oct. 1, I had a follow up visit with surgeon today. My body is rejecting the tube. I have irration and itiching and general discomfort. The area is so swollen that the tube can't work and there is a bump (dr. said the name but I forget) of skin forming around the tube. It is very uncomfortable and I really hope it can be corrected. I am to take Lotomax for 2 wks then return to Dr. Has anyone had this experience?
