I hav taken Effexor Hcl 150 mg generic called Venlafaxine HCL ER Capsules 150mg, for years. A new doc wrote for the same medication in tablet form by mistake instead of the caps. Will it work the same for me?

I tested positive but I am allergic to Fluoxetine Hcl, Diphenhydramine Hcl, Doxycycline, Venlafaxine Hydrochloride, Fluoxetine, Azithromycin and Amoxicillin-Pot Clavulanate. What antibiotic can I take to treat this? Amoxicillin?

Hello all. My partner has just stopped taking Cymbalta (60 mg after 3 + years) and started taking Pristiq (50 mg). She has been on it for 6 days and she has had diarrhea and vomiting for 3 out of those 6 days. Has anyone experienced these types of side effects on Pristiq? I took it many years ago as well... As msnova74 said, just like cymbalta, effexor xr is an SNRI and chemically this may not work for you. I would ask your doctor this - "If I had such bad luck with Cymbalta, why would you like to try another SNRI drug?" Personally I found no luck with any "antidepressants" and have to take a combination of Adderall and Klonopin.
