i am on cymbalta...no side effects until my doctor upped my dose, but just extreme tiredness, so i lowered my dose back to 60 mgs....usually the brain zaps are when you suddenly stop taking it, any antidepressant can cause this when abruptly stopped....but everyone is different. are you experiencing any side effects from it now?

s effect on the GABA neurotransmitter. Memory problems are common side effects for the same reason and the close relation between GABA and glutamate, glutamate being involved in learning and memory. Other side effects more likely to happen in women are dizziness, tiredness, balance problems.

Hi It took me 8 weeks to full effect. The first three weeks I had side effects. I feel 'normal' on it now.

After seeing my doctor lately, she has decided to take me off my Cymbalta. I've been on it for 3 years with no change in my depression. What I'm wondering about are the withdrawals that I think I've been experiencing. The doctor also has put me on Paxil while weaning me off the Cymbalta. The symptoms I've had are mostly being very shaky; so much so that it's hard to hold a spoon because I'm shaking that badly. Is this normal and will it go away?

I was removed off of saphris last october, and was put on wellbutrin 150mg and had a TERRIBLE reaction to it. now think I am experiencing side effects that (in my opinion) appear to look like adrenal problems (fatigue, unneccesary anxiety, muscle spasms/twitching, problems walkng, craving sugars etc.

She went to a doctor yesterday about her hair and the doctor told her that it was because of this medication (Lydrica) But I have seen all side effects and none talk about hair lost. And my mother does not want to leave this medication because its the only one that works for her burning feet. Has anybody else expirence hair loss with Lydrica?She also takes Cymbalta 60mg,lyrica 75mg, Nexuim 40mg, and Tramabol 50mg. What do you all suggest she get tested for ?

Attention anyone taking Cymbalta...PLEASE read about the side effects and the horrible withdrawl symptoms. It turned me into a zoombie then it took over a year to withdraw from. It is worse than anything I have ever experienced in my whole life. I am not going to be a guinea pig for any more of these new drugs, I'll just stick with vicodin.

My doctor just put me on Abilify, which I'm not very happy about considering the side effects. However, I have treatment-resistant depression so I'm running out of options. I will be taking a very low dose, though: 2.5 mg. Does anyone know if you're less likely to get side effects if you're on a low dose? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

I've been dealing with gerd issues for the last half year. Colonoscopy and endoscopy were negative. It's been two year since my surgery. I still have constant numbness on my left side with a burning sensation. Hello, I'm trying to find out more information from others who are going through ilioinguinal/iliohypogastric nerve damage or neuralgia. I've been suffering from groin pain and numbness of my right leg after an ovarian egg retrieval. This was my third egg retrieval as an egg donor. Somehow during this last retrieval nerves were damaged most likely due to scar tissue being built up or the needle damaging the nerves.

Hi, I am posting this for my 21 yr. old son. He is in college and he had extreme anxiety and depression and was put on Cymbalta. He's been taking it for about a month. He complains to me that he yawns constantly, is really drowsy, almost to the point where he falls asleep at random times and it's upsetting him. However, his anxiety and depression are much better. ve learned over the years that side effects are different for everyone and not to judge a medication based on that. Possible side effects doesn't mean one will get all of them (which is what I tended to focus on). While being on Cymbalta, the one side effect I've noticed is insomnia. For the first little while I had nausea but that's gone away. Other than that, my appetite has increased and I'm eating a bit more.

I always like to learn as much as possible about my medications as well. They say not to because you may worry about side effects that may occur but I do it anyway and give the meds a chance before I worry about that. Unfortunately I have no knowledge about the medicine you are talking about but there are a lot of forums on Medhelp to include anxiety as well some that may pertain to the reason you have to take the norvasc.

I had similar problem & my support group put the blame on the Cymbalta. Some people say Wellbutrin has less sexual side effects.
