What I found interesting, was that after looking at my favorite top 5, increase and decrease in libido was not even mentioned although they were quick to note side effects such as depression, vaginal dryness and legathy. Even the official website for Arimidex itself and the "largest known site for the most comprehensive list of side effects" doesn't touch libido...at all. Hmmm However, women taking this medication tell a different story.

I read about adding wellbutrin to the SSRI to help counteract the sexual side effects and the fatigue since wellbutrin is given for ADD sometimes because it's a mild stimulant, but before I could suggest anything my doctor decided to send in a prescription for Cymbalta, which is an SSNRI.

The manufacturer has by law to list all known side-effects on their product data sheets, even rare side-effects. Remember many people get through their treatment without suffering any major side-effects and hopefully this will be the case with you. So I would relax and forget it. If you worry about a decrease in libido, you'll definitely get a decrease in libido!

Many AD's have side effects that affect the libido, guess it applies to both sex es. As far as I know all AD's have this drastic effect . Hopefully you'll find one that's OK for you . Good luck.

I have little to no libido. My doctor has me switched over to Wellbutrin due to the low libido side effects. I am on my second week of a very low dose of Wellbutrin (35 mg am, 17 mg afternoon). I have noticed that for several hours after I take it, my lips and face tingle as if they are slightly numb. In addition, my thoughts are slightly jumbled and not clear. Is this normal? How long does it take for the Wellbutrin to kick in?

My husband has been having ed problems for several years now, Collis helped a bit but not much. He has zero libido which is probably resulting from meds (methadone, cymbalta, abilify)... After seeing my doctor lately, she has decided to take me off my Cymbalta. I've been on it for 3 years with no change in my depression. What I'm wondering about are the withdrawals that I think I've been experiencing. The doctor also has put me on Paxil while weaning me off the Cymbalta. The symptoms I've had are mostly being very shaky; so much so that it's hard to hold a spoon because I'm shaking that badly. Is this normal and will it go away?

As for sexual side effects, i do think i'm losing libido and ability to reach orgasm due to cymbalta and while i used to believe this was unacceptable, i just want to feel better so badly that i don't care anymore. but if i don't feel better soon... i don't know. hate to think of having to try yet another drug and being even less functional again for a week or so.

My orthopedic specialist tried switching me to Lyrica for 3 months back in 2014 with horrible immediate side effects. Switched back to Gabapentin. I am asking if there is another neuropathic pain medication to use as an alternative to Gabapentin. I agree that the Gaba helps with nerve pain, however the side effects are scaring me. I was removed off of saphris last october, and was put on wellbutrin 150mg and had a TERRIBLE reaction to it. now think I am experiencing side effects that (in my opinion) appear to look like adrenal problems (fatigue, unneccesary anxiety, muscle spasms/twitching, problems walkng, craving sugars etc.

Also why is it that i feel so nasty in the mornings is this a spike in anxeity while im sleeping? I cant find a SSRI that helps without major side effects. She went to a doctor yesterday about her hair and the doctor told her that it was because of this medication (Lydrica) But I have seen all side effects and none talk about hair lost. And my mother does not want to leave this medication because its the only one that works for her burning feet. Has anybody else expirence hair loss with Lydrica?She also takes Cymbalta 60mg,lyrica 75mg, Nexuim 40mg, and Tramabol 50mg. What do you all suggest she get tested for ?

However I had relatives who were on cymbalta, they experience side effects, both good and bad, including fainting. So If you are experience effects from it, work with your doctor on titrating down the dosage just to be safe.

My doctor just put me on Abilify, which I'm not very happy about considering the side effects. However, I have treatment-resistant depression so I'm running out of options. m already feeling the side effects like dizziness, irritated mood, lack of libido and it is taking long to get an erection. I have a high libido by default but I'm not feeling it anymore this morning. I read pregabalin causes this. Is this permanent? I'm only 21... Attention anyone taking Cymbalta...PLEASE read about the side effects and the horrible withdrawl symptoms. It turned me into a zoombie then it took over a year to withdraw from. I've been suffering from groin pain and numbness of my right leg after an ovarian egg retrieval. This was my third egg retrieval as an egg donor. At this time I'm on lamictal, Wellbutrin, Klonipin, and cymbalta (treating to detox off and try fetzima). I am only 27 and just want relief. I've been on Klonipin for 4 years ( far too long) and I am at the point where I only take it to avoid getting sick with withdrawal.

I used both, and found that side effects are similar; tiredness, weight gain, and a slow pulse. Side effects are more pronounced as the dosage is increased. I had dosages from 25mg to 200mg. daily. Other reported effects are loss of libido, tightness in the chest, itching, irregular breathing, and irregular heartbeat. I just want a little clarification. I've had the Nexplanon implant for about...3 months now. I've done my research and read all of the side effects. I haven't had a menstrual cycle since the implant, I have also taken a pregnancy test and came out negative. I know that these are both common side effects for all, but ive been through Lexapro, Paxil and Zoloft, and Effexor is the only that has had some type of effect in terms of alleviating the dear depression and anxiety. But, I am terrified of the process of switching, I'm terrified that I'll be suicidal all through it. I'm sure if i do it I'll wind up dead. I went down 37.
