cymbalta side effects jaw

After seeing my doctor lately, she has decided to take me off my Cymbalta. I've been on it for 3 years with no change in my depression. What I'm wondering about are the withdrawals that I think I've been experiencing. The doctor also has put me on Paxil while weaning me off the Cymbalta. The symptoms I've had are mostly being very shaky; so much so that it's hard to hold a spoon because I'm shaking that badly. Is this normal and will it go away?

I was removed off of saphris last october, and was put on wellbutrin 150mg and had a TERRIBLE reaction to it. now think I am experiencing side effects that (in my opinion) appear to look like adrenal problems (fatigue, unneccesary anxiety, muscle spasms/twitching, problems walkng, craving sugars etc.

She went to a doctor yesterday about her hair and the doctor told her that it was because of this medication (Lydrica) But I have seen all side effects and none talk about hair lost. And my mother does not want to leave this medication because its the only one that works for her burning feet. Has anybody else expirence hair loss with Lydrica?She also takes Cymbalta 60mg,lyrica 75mg, Nexuim 40mg, and Tramabol 50mg. What do you all suggest she get tested for ?

My doctor just put me on Abilify, which I'm not very happy about considering the side effects. However, I have treatment-resistant depression so I'm running out of options. I will be taking a very low dose, though: 2.5 mg. Does anyone know if you're less likely to get side effects if you're on a low dose? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Attention anyone taking Cymbalta...PLEASE read about the side effects and the horrible withdrawl symptoms. It turned me into a zoombie then it took over a year to withdraw from. It is worse than anything I have ever experienced in my whole life. I am not going to be a guinea pig for any more of these new drugs, I'll just stick with vicodin.

t really notice any side effects at all from it. Cymbalta is an SNRI whereas, Prozac and some of the others are an SSRI. I'm not exactly sure of the difference, but there is one. My left foot is pulsating as I type this. I hate it, but it's not nearly as bad as it used to be. Actually, now that I think about it, one side effect that I did notice at first was that I actually felt a little increase in my anxiety...mostly in my jaw if that makes sense. But it went away.

i am on cymbalta...no side effects until my doctor upped my dose, but just extreme tiredness, so i lowered my dose back to 60 mgs....usually the brain zaps are when you suddenly stop taking it, any antidepressant can cause this when abruptly stopped....but everyone is different. are you experiencing any side effects from it now?

thanks for the response. i too got on effexor and benzos to try to relax but it just made the dizziness and brain fog so much worse that i got off all meds after 7 weeks. i was also getting side effects like high blood pressure and restless legs. i really couldn't tell if my condition was worsening or if it was jut the meds. it just made it so much more confusing. i needed to know how my condition was w/o the meds. i now know that my own stress and anxiety is not causing the symptoms.

I understand what you are saying. You are noticing behavior similar to what I have noticed in my husband. It is difficult to explain to anyone else, but you know what is normal for him. It can be difficult at times when you relied on him to take care of certain things and now you aren't sure whether you can. The reason for the change was because of severe side effects. Dizziness, tremors, jaw pain, loud ringing in ears, nausea were the main issues. Hi, I am posting this for my 21 yr. old son. He is in college and he had extreme anxiety and depression and was put on Cymbalta. He's been taking it for about a month. He complains to me that he yawns constantly, is really drowsy, almost to the point where he falls asleep at random times and it's upsetting him. However, his anxiety and depression are much better. I looked up the side effects of Cymbalta and these are not very common ones, so I don't know what to tell him.

And maybe instead of depression they are just side-effects of the meds. (Although given her history and symptoms it would be easy to understand someone becoming depressed). ve learned over the years that side effects are different for everyone and not to judge a medication based on that. Possible side effects doesn't mean one will get all of them (which is what I tended to focus on). While being on Cymbalta, the one side effect I've noticed is insomnia. For the first little while I had nausea but that's gone away. Other than that, my appetite has increased and I'm eating a bit more.

I always like to learn as much as possible about my medications as well. They say not to because you may worry about side effects that may occur but I do it anyway and give the meds a chance before I worry about that. Unfortunately I have no knowledge about the medicine you are talking about but there are a lot of forums on Medhelp to include anxiety as well some that may pertain to the reason you have to take the norvasc.

I had similar problem & my support group put the blame on the Cymbalta. Some people say Wellbutrin has less sexual side effects.

Pleas go anline and read about all the side effects and weaning off of Cymbalta. I and others have had serious complication because of taking this drug. It is very difficult to wean off and has left some with permanent side effects. Good luck. I took vicodin with cymbalta and now I only take vicodin. It took me months of agony to get off Cymbalta. Please do the research.
