cymbalta nightmares

Only took Cymbalta for 3 months but had side effects of being off balance lightheaded feeling like I am walking in a boat now I being taken off the drug and having nightmares the sweats headaches anyone had this experience with this drug?

Hello. I'm 23 and I have PTSD. I use to take cymbalta which worked well for me but my insurance no longer covers it, which means it's over $1,000. Obviously being a full time student I cannot afford this. Does anyone know of anything natural I can take daily that will help? I have nightmares every night and keep my poor boyfriend up. And I'm getting worried that I may be developing sleep walking behavior. I don't want to feel out of it, and like I said I'm low on funds.

I am currently taking klonopin twice a day which is a miracle for me prescribed from my psychiatrist... Prior to this I was taking cymbalta only for a week and 2 days! I stopped taking the cymbalta due to side effects. I didn't take any on Monday and still haven't. My primary care doctor prescribed the cymbalta to me! I was in the middle of withdrawing from celexa which was a nightmare in itself it's been almost a month I been off of it!

i am going cold turkey with effexor, but having nightmares .feel like i have been working really hard and am so tired but cant sleep properly because of these horrible nighmares. i am so tired.

Iv'e been bad with nerves since I was 20 am now 58. It still goes on. I take cymbalta for depression and diazepam. I seem to go 3 to 4 months then something happens. I started losing my balance a fortnight since and couldn't stand for long though I have catarrh in my head since the weather came colder.

Finally, I know we are all different and respond differently to meds, but of the Pros and Cons, which AD do you prefer over another and why?? I started on Cymbalta but switched after a month because of constipation. Have been on Sertraline (Zoloft) ever since. It's hard to separate side effects when taking other meds. Thanks for any advice. I will talk to my new doc but wanted some additional footing first.

Yeah I get what your saying. I think the scariest part of the nightmare is the fact that the dream so closely represents reality. I mean I've had other nightmares that are so far-fetched I know they are nightmares. These other dreams though, it's very hard to tell they are dreams.

I have been taking 60mg of Cymbalta for Fibromyalgia for about 6mos. now. I decided to have my doctor take me off of the medicine b/c I wanted to try a more natural approach....5-htp. My dr. suggested I drop down to 30mg for 1 week (which I did) and then take 30mg every other day. I just started this process and I feel god awful. I skipped Monday night and all yesterday I had what they call brain zaps (thanks to google), horrible nightmares, fatigue (I'll deal w/ this one), and nausea.

I had gone to my doctor at the time when I was having those nightmares and was put on Zoloft. Immediately the nightmares stopped. I stayed on that for quite awhile before I went back because it started to make me feel really "on edge". I ended up getting on Cymbalta but had to stop cold turkey because I couldn't afford it.

I have a question is anyone just on klonopin for panic? I feel it's a wonder medication. I was on celexa and klonopin a little over a year now. I stopped the celexa I felt it wasn't doing much. The withdrawals from that were out of control! Something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. So I decided just to got o my primary care doctor for desperate help he was the only 1 around that day. m afraid to sleep in the same room with my wife due to the nightmares and that I might hit her in my sleep. I also feel like I have mini shocks through my body, very anxious and down. I used to really like my doctor but now she is so busy our visits are 3 - 5 minutes. appointments with new drs are 6 months wait. Getting ready to start Lexapro and I want to know the side effects you have experienced? I have been on Wellbutrion and Cymbalta and both were not for me. Made my anxiety worse. I lost weight on both but wanted to know the weight issue with Lexapro since there seems to be one. Thanks for the help.

lower back & right leg pain NOT very consistent 2001 after 2nd pregnancy. lower back & right leg pain VERY consistent 2006 after 3rd pregnancy. 2007 the start of wanting to chop my right leg off every night from the constant pain. 2008 dr prescribed me every pain med to try what helps. Tramadol 50mg 1/3xs a day was the winner! later that same year got in 2 car accidents. 1st one was horrible. hit from behind on the highway, spun around, & flipped over a couple of times.

Hey, I have been taking 300 mg of Tramadol daily since January and started having issues. When the hot flashes and excess sweating started my GP said your 41 maybe it's early menopause. Then came the nightmares and I started seeing things when I was awake, I didn't get out of bed for 3 days at a time. My GP said it must be depression so he added "Cymbalta". Bad idea if I don't say so myself.

I started out on something called tramadol and over the years have been on fentynal path , opana 40mg with norco for break through pain along with lyrica, cymbalta, methotrexate, plaquinil, prednisone, and a few others. Several months ago I asked to come off of these medications as I feel I no longer am in touch with my body. I did well with all but lyrica, cymbalta and MS Contin . So I managed to get to 15 mg of MS Contin with 4 norco per day and the pain was tolerable.

Not to mention that another doctor diagnosed me previous to this doctor as ADD, so I was on Adderall XR 20 mg and Cymbalta 60 mg. My Pdoc told me that it was a horrible combo for me - and progressively took me off of Cymbalta (withdrawals sucked big time) and put me on a progressively increasing Lamactical dose. I went from 12.5 to 25 to 50 and now I am getting to the 100mg stage. My issue is that I have had bouts with nausia, diarhea, and bad headaches.

I've never been the kind to have nightmares until the last few weeks. I am 16 weeks pregnant first child n I was wondering if anyone else has had nightmares or could tell me if this is normal for pregnancies?

I keep having these horrific nightmares that I am unfit to be a mother meaning I forget to feed the baby or leave it somewhere or forget to change a diaper it's making me really panic!!
