Avatar f tn I have facial numbness and other side effects .I have been off for 7mths . I wasn't sure what was the cause of this because of other meds . I stopped all of them and started having seziure. I am on depakote and so far so good seziure free but still have some things happening that I can't explain. How long has it been for you and has these effects lessened any.

1191795 tn?1264712627 57 yo retired mil with PTSD (field medic) and very rapid memory loss over past 3 months. I mean very rapid and getting worse. Taking Citalopram and Trazadone. Also increasing hand tremors. Tinnitus extreme with increase symptoms when moving eyes up, down L-R. No effect when eyes closed though.
202665 tn?1248806733 I experience some form of memory loss on antipsychotics but the medicine that really caused me to have that level of memory loss and confusion like you describe was Cogentin which can cause Alzheimer's-like side effects, although Cogentin isn't a psych med, it's a side effect pill. I don't know if psych meds can cause memory loss to that extent or not but I would bet it's possible although I would get other causes ruled out like you're doing.
562833 tn?1233756109 Does anyone or has anyone experienced memory loss over pain killers. I feel I am losing my mind half the time. I can't remember what I was about to do, or what I need to do. And where I put stuff, I am really starting to worry about this, along with all the other things, I am worried about. maybe this is just part of my OCD. I tend to worry about everything and keep stressing about it.
Avatar m tn m trying to figure out if this is the new medication. Has anyone taking cymbalta had tactile hallucinations, or what were other peoples experience. Honestly, last night really freaked me out, and if it was the medication I am going to stop taking it immediately, so if anyone would share their experiences with me I would appreciate it.
Avatar n tn Hi. I was just wondering if going off Celexa would help ensure I get some of my memory back. My memory has become progressively worse since I went on the drug years ago. Mostly short-term, but to some extent long-term as well. I am heading to a masters program and later on hope to pursue a PhD, so I can no longer accept this issue. I have a feeling that my working memory has decreased as well, which is unacceptable.
Avatar m tn I have been off these meds fro three weeks, severe mania anxiety, loss or disconnect of short term memory. Do not feel safe in public. WHAT TO DO ?
Avatar f tn I have been on meds for bi-polar and have developed tremors and memory loss (phone #, SS# etc plus other). I have gotten off the meds, been a few days, and am scared that this will be a permanent change. Friends who hadn't seen me in months, came over recently and were shocked and concerned about me, telling me that I seemed like a zombie. My husband's friends are pulling him aside and asking what's wrong. This is NOT the normal me.
Avatar n tn If somebody has a solution please share your secret. I have already tried Zoloft where it only gave me slurred speech and memory loss. Lexapro made me very angry and sleepy. I do not know any other medication to take. Please Help if you have an answer.
398302 tn?1202271127 These are just as powerful for most people without the side affects. Like sweats, memory loss, lack of sex drive, etc...If I were you I'd try these first. I would love to be off the Zoloft. It is just too soon after being clean. The body is still trying to regulate itself.
Avatar f tn I think we also have to remember that everyone's biological chemistry is different and so different drugs affect different people in different ways. I have been on Cymbalta at 90/day for about 6 months and started it about 9 months ago. Initial doses of 30mg made me sicker than a dog and dizzy as all get out. We halfed the dose and gave it a few weeks at a time...up to 30, then 60, then 90 before I started seeing better results.
400867 tn?1371753094 I have experience tremendous hair loss from Cymbalta. Has anyone else? It is very scary!
Avatar f tn I was diagnosed with MS almost 2 years ago and have noticed much more frequent, severe mood swings. I am beginning to have more short term memory loss as well. However, there are times where I feel as though I can do anything and not need sleep. I am not being treated with steroids, and do daily injections of Copaxone. Are these mood swings and memory issues somehow related or located in the same area of the brain? Would taking Namenda and Aricept together help?
Avatar f tn I guess my fiance says I have memory loss since I was pregnant. Our daughter is a month now and I guess he says I see and hear things differently then how they happen or do things I don't know I did. He said it has been since I was pregnant not before. Has this happened to anyone?

Avatar n tn After coratid artery surgery, experiencing memory loss which is not consistently short term or long term, is it possible for the brain to reconfigure areas damaged by particles that passed through the filter and regain the ability to remember? This discussion is related to short term memory loss.
Avatar m tn re in an alcohol/substance related group - memory loss can be associated with drinking. It can be associated with many other things, too - from different medications, mental or cognitive health conditions, and even sometimes stress. I think it is very important that you speak to a doctor who can survey your health & lifestyle profile to work with what is known - and other factors that may not be known.
