cymbalta

Avatar f tn I'm 9 weeks pregnant. I've been on seroqel 150mg a day for years also cymbalta 30mg. When I was 3 weeks pregnant I took myself of cymbalta completly. I've been in severe depression not wanting to do anything. I'm just wondering if I should go back on cymbalta. I'm on 150mg still because I was on it with my last pregnacy and everthing was fine.
Avatar n tn Have any benefits been shown for sufferes of hemifacial spasm by taking lyrica? Is there any way to avoid weight gain while using lyrica?
Avatar n tn The Wellbutrin is suppose to take the place of the cymbalta. After horrible withdrawal, I came completely off of Cymbalta last week. I became so depressed that I couldn't stand to talk, much less move. All I wanted to do was sleep and be left alone. When I did interact, I was grizzly mean. I started back on the Cymbalta yesterday, b/c my depression was overwhelming and my meaness was clearly taking a toll on my husband and 4 year old.
1166402 tn?1303847056 I have been on both Remeron and Cymbalta and I never had problem with my WBC. My side-effects from Remeron is sore mouth when I wake up, lethargy, hypersomnia and severe constipation. On Cymbalta I had no side-effect. Switching back to Cymbalta ASAP.
Avatar m tn Cymbalta actually worked for me after I had a major back surgery...i had alot of nerve damage in my sciatic and the cymbalta helped me while they were doing procedures to ease the nerve pain such as epidurals and rfas...however getting off of it was not the easiest thing I ever had to do...my dr lowered the dose and got me off of it safely but I was still going through some moderate withdrawals like shaking and nausea but they only lasted a few weeks and I was fine afterward...
1100999 tn?1257701380 Studies are showing an excellent sucess rate with both Lexapro and Cymbalta and this is why they are on top of my list too and i have success right now with Cymbalta. The only side effect i had was nausea and it went away. I don't feel like a ''zombie''.
Avatar f tn Also I am very disconcerted over the fact that he gave me a crapload of cymbalta and asked me if I had ever been treated for anxiety or depression. I shared that the baby was depressing and my choice was regretted sadly but after a couple of months that went away like I am hoping the physical pain will. I am not sure the cymbalta will help me if I am not depressed. Does it do anything for pain?
Avatar m tn Each pose similiar side effects especially if abruptly stopped. All take up to 6 weeks to see the full benefits of depression relief. One of the newer depression medications is Cymbalta. This class is known as the SSNRI's (Selective Serotonin norepipnehrine Inhibitors). The difference is that is works on 2 neurotransmitters in the brain. These neurotransmitters have been linked to a cause of depression.
Avatar f tn m 48 hours clean, yesterday my dr gave my cymbalta, I woke up to not having withdrawals symptoms this morning other than a little tired and stuff ears. Does the cymbalta help opiate withdrawl? I was taking huge amounts of oxy ir 5mg. And oddly no pain or craving for pills? This ever happen for anyone before?
Avatar f tn I have been on Remeron for a few months and it has really helped with my anxiety. Recently my Doctor added cymbalta for nerve pain. This is only my third day with the cymbalta and my anxiety level is shooting through the roof. Also I have this dang ringing in my ears that does not want to go away. I questioned my doctor about taking remeron and cymbalta together and asured me that they work great together. I honestly don't know if I can stand this feeling.

Avatar f tn I started Cymbalta 8 to 8 days ago for MDD and Gad with obsessive thoughts. And now tapering Effexor gradually. I didn't see improvement till now and feel very depressed and feel like my head is going to explode cz of the thoughts and the continuously feeling down with no interest or motivation to do anything in life. Avatar f tn ve been on celexa for about 3 months started at 20mg now at 40 mg. I have been seeing a lot of benefits. However I used to be on cymbalta and no matter how much I went to the gym I couldn't lose weight. I am fixing to start working out again and trying to eat healthier. Does anyone know if celexa hinders weight loss with proper diet and exercise.
1042487 tn?1275279899 I am a 58 YO male that has suffered with fibromyalgia for most of my life. Ever get tired of hearing "Its all in your head" or "Man up"??? The military could never figure it out, "Take 800 MG IB twice daily"... Well they finealy found it a few years ago. I have tried about every antidepressant out there. Some work for a few days, others for weeks. NONE in long term usage. Well the Doc's tried me on 300mgs of Gabapentene at night. OH NO.
Avatar f tn Have suffered with Anxiety and Depression for the last 4 years, in that time I have been on Lexapro,Effexor and Cymbalta. About 8weeks ago Idecided to taper off Cymbalta as have felt that the medication seems to worsen my symptoms as well as making me extremely tired - I could sleep up to 16hrs a day which is not good with 2 young children.
5142668 tn?1364230745 So my doc put me on 30mg of Cymbalta 4 months ago and I noticed zero help with the pains. So I stopped taking it about 5 days ago. As of yesterday I felt like I was an absolute mess. I had been having these HORRIBLE headaches, nausea, dizzy spells, confusion, and crying spells out of nowhere. This all brought me to do a little bit of research and I found out it is all withdrawal symptoms.
Avatar f tn ve already applied for medicaid cash assistance and food card but my sister was telling me i should do some research because given my situation i should qualify for more benefits like free diapers and what not.
Avatar m tn ) I posted last night about Cymbalta Im on 180mg perscribed by Dr. I cut it down to 150mg yesterday and all the w/ds that i had when i frist stoped the sub. came back I took that 1 30mg Cymbalta and they went away. I asked my Pharmacey about Cymbalta W/d and she said she never heard of it. So I started experimenting by just waiting to later in the day and see if I had w/d and droping either a 30mg or a 60mg to see what. My w/ds off Cymbalta is as bad if not worse than my w/d from sub.
Avatar f tn I have been on Cymbalta for over a year by a world renowned Psychiatrist after being on a worthless drug called Imipramine. I have totally seen a change in myself and the side effects have been minimal. If weren't for the cost especially after losing insurance I still love it!! I pay 140.00 per month so make sure you shop around if your insurance doesn't help. It is a fairly need drug but specifically for GAD sufferers. Good luck to you!
5082295 tn?1371250911 Hi all. Ive posted this question a few days ago & not many responses. 1st if you know me on this site im done detoxing from pain meds & now have been prescribed Cymbalta. Avatar f tn jHas anyone tried taking two antidepressants along with a mood stabilizer and had good results? I'm currently taking Depakote and Cymbalta, but thinking of adding Prozac for added depression benefits. I'm also on an antipsychotic, Geodon.
Avatar f tn Actually there is no weight gain! That is one of the benefits of this medication b/c it is like cymbalta (sp?). For me there were some side effects, but they subsided after a week or so. I got a lot of hot flashes, but they are gone now.
1302779 tn?1287405029 Lexapro is one of the newer meds and along with Cymbalta, most people that I've spoken with seem to adjust and feel "normal" again after about the first month. If you're 3 weeks into it, I think you should start feeling the full benefits in about another week. Good luck!
Avatar f tn If your psychiatrist recommends it for you, it might be worth a try, but please be sure that he/she discusses all of the potential risks and benefits, as well as other treatment options. Best of luck...
