I was diagnosed with so many things but no definitive reasoning as to why my body is shutting down. Is there anything to treat this? I am on wellbutrin right now and seems to help it a bit but I am going to be put on cymbalta soon and I am worried its going to get much worse.
689327 tn?1240229164 Does anyone have restless leg syndrome and if so what do doctors recommend to take so you can sleep? No matter what position I am in it hurts which it makes it hard for me to sleep I am so tired so any ideas would be appreciated.
Avatar f tn i tried cymbalta and it made my anxiety worse. but remember all people are different and this med may help you.take care.
Avatar n tn some people have very uncomfortable symptoms, and others have none at all. Starting the Cymbalta may reduce your withdrawal to some extent, as Cymbalta is a serotonin (and norepinephrine) reuptake blocker, and some of the withdrawal from Tramadol comes from changes in serotonin activity. The withdrawal is not 'dangerous', so do your best to avoid concentrating on them. Distraction is one thing that can help reduce withdrawal symptoms.
1063332 tn?1254751034 t have much to say about the med issues, but my mom had restless leg syndrome in addition to having alot of meds act opposite with her too. She tried this goofy home remedy for restless legs and it worked. Here's a link so you can read about it yourself. Rodger http://www.peoplespharmacy.

Avatar f tn Anyone here experiencing restless legs? I'm 8 weeks along and have only experienced restless legs prior to pregnancy when using sleeping pills. Now it seems to happen many nights, though not as severe as when I used to be medicated. I know baths help, but those are not always a possibility. Anyone know of other things that might help?
Avatar f tn Does anyone else suffer from restless legs during their pregnancy? I'm 11 weeks, and wake up at night feeling like my legs are in an electrical socket. I have to get up and walk around all night and it's awful! I had this with my 1st pregnancy but definitely not this early! Is there anything to do to fix it?
690549 tn?1288882721 I also failed to say that the standard meds for restless legs--requip (generic is roprinole) and miraplex are readily available and usually not at all difficult to get prescribed. They help a LOT!! Reduces the obnoxious feelings sometimes by half!
Avatar m tn It's been 2 weeks for me, I sleep for about 2-3 hours at night. Wake up around 3 with my muscles killing me. Something about lying still aggravates my brain :-/ Been thinking about trying the hyland stuff. But I have been taking magnesium and potassium and they aren't helping too much. When the rls wakes me up I don't fight it tho.
5796302 tn?1382980534 Elevate your legs and stretch when you wake up and before you go to bed.
1591337 tn?1297101349 When i feel the symptoms resuming, i simply lay on my side, get into a very tight fetal position, really stretching the back and legs, hold for 2 minutes, release, and symptoms disappear for about 24 hours. I blelieve it is the stretching of the back that is doing something. I am now on a mission to tell as many people as possible. Ionly wish i had discoveed this many years ago. So many years of suffering!
Avatar n tn i just started withdrawling from these pills and was wondering if there was anything i could do to ease the restless legs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Avatar f tn After 2 weeks of doing the therapy and having some movement and applied pressure in my lower back and legs it really helped me. Best of luck to you.
Avatar f tn My friend is a sports therapy doctor and he told Mr to do this. I have restless legs really bad and painful cramps. Take a 15-20 min walk before bed and then drink two 8oz glasses of tonic water. They get a Lil achy still but the pain has lessened so much that I usually get up to only tinkle in the night.
Avatar f tn I'm 6weeks and 1 day and I have horrible restless legs! With my first pregnancy I don't remember them being this bad. They are restless all day and get worse at night. Anybody have any tips or suggestions for some relief?!
Avatar n tn t safe because your baby gets a dose of it too, so not only would it knock you out but the baby too, as good as that sounds sometimes lol. But ever since Istarted ttaking iron pills it has stopped my legs from cramping up and restless legs at bed time.

491910 tn?1209366193 Ups and downs sister........watch out for the mood and emotions...don't think you're crazy if it hits.....but don't think you're crazy if it doesn't. Let's hope for the latter.
9451977 tn?1403848573 Since I was about 3months pregnant everynight just as I start to fall a sleep my legs get really restless and I have to keep moving them all night and can't sleep does anyone else have this problem or know of anything that helps I need sleep I'm 25weeks now
Avatar f tn I have got the worst case of RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome) ever since I hit my 7.2 month mark. I have never had this problem before then and it is making it almost impossible to sleep. I'm always so so tired when I wake up because my sleep gets interrupted every 30 minutes or so by violent leg jerking and the annoying restless feeling. I've tried putting a pillow between my legs, drinking more water, cutting caffeine, and stretching before bed but nothing seems to work.
Avatar f tn I had it with all my pregnancies but seems to be getting wise with each one and as the weeks go by. And not to scare you but mine didn't go away right away after delivery :( it eventually went away but from time to time I'd still get it not pregnant. Mine starts exactly same time every night and makes it nearly impossible to sleep. I try to occupy myself with internet tv or something but it doesn't really help. GL!
Avatar m tn have you tried hylands restless legs from walmart, also drinking tonic water, and bananas, is the potassium that helps, hot baths, and some gentle excersise, i really feel for you, best wishes, sudie
Avatar f tn But you may need sleep aids. For me, melatonin worked best. All this plus Hylands Restless Legs and heating pads..
