cymbalta and adderall

No longer covered by her Medicare, her psychiatrist took her off the cymbalta and abilify. Switched to prozac 40 mg once a day. Last day for cymbalta and abilify was Wednesday. She is having horrible throbbing , headaches, angry outbursts, crying, the "runs", nausea, panic, agitation. She cannot get to sleep and wakes up after 4 hours once she does get to sleep. What she wants to know is whether or not she can take tylenol for the headaches?

It has not and I am back to taking pain meds 60mg morphine daily and 60 mg oxycodone. I have been so depressed and now I am taking 180mg of cymbalta and now xanax. I am more depressed and lost than I have ever been in my life. I can't do anything, I have no energy to do anything. I don't eat much anymore. It has been the worst for me these past few years and I am really confused. What can I do?

I would ask your doctor this - "If I had such bad luck with Cymbalta, why would you like to try another SNRI drug?" Personally I found no luck with any "antidepressants" and have to take a combination of Adderall and Klonopin.

I was taking a benzodiazepine an SSRI and adderall and i noticed the SSRI changed my mood as well and made me on edge. Do yourself a favor and try all other options before turning to adderall. I was addicted to adderall. I just finished physical withdrawals and now I'm dealing with phychatric withdrawals. This drug is sold on the streets and you might find yourself needing more and more in order for it to work. Just be careful! I just don't want anyone to go through what I just experienced! I thinks it's crazy they give this stuff to kids.

I've been smoking marijuana for about 5 years. I've been diagnosed bipolar for about 2 years. I recently had a really bad reaction to pot. REALLY bad. I almost killed myself, screamed at my friends, and vomited for 2 days. No one else that smoked it had a bad reaction. I haven't had a medication change recently. I am desperate for answers regarding my chronic leg pain and fatigue. My doctor keeps increasing my Cymbalta. Now wants me to get off of Elavil 25mg and Adderal 15mg. Doctor says take the Neurontin for sleep. The Elavil works best for pain, but I can hardly get up in the mornings and it has made me gain 10 plus pounds and counting. I take Clonapin 0.5mg twice a day. Getting off the Elavil, I am having cold feet and hands and a very unsettling feeling and absolutley no energy.

Hi. I've been under a doctor's and therapist's care for a couple of years dealing with generalized anxiety and mild depression. I've also been fighting fatigue over that time, which still hasn't been ruled out as something physical. In May, my doctor prescribed 20mg of adderall (amphetamines) to take each morning to help fight the fatigue, lethargy and lack of motivation. It had worked very well for a while -- I was able to work regularly and very effectively.

Yes there is a more simple solution. Did you tell your doctor about being bi-polar and having anxiety? I'm assuming you did and ots not a self-diagnosis Concerta or any other medications like Adderall to treat ADD/ADHD will only exacerbate your other disorders. I use to be on concerts for my ADHD but I also have generalized anxiety. An SSRI is the best choice for treating those two. On second note, ADD/ADHD medications can treat depression but not anxiety.

so if i dont take the adderall and xanax at the same time of day the adderall will work better?

Also, "brain zaps" are a sensation of a buzz in your head. When I went off Cymbalta quickly, I had what felt like intermittent static. Also when I turned my head quickly my eyes didn't keep up which was a strange sensation.

Prozac and Paxil both significantly block the pathway for the metabolism of Adderall and all the amphetamine products. [Wellbutrin and Cymbalta can block 2D6 at their higher doses.] If you take either of these two antidepressants together with an amphetamine, just watch out. You can significantly become overdosed on the amphetamine and suffer significant side effects. Often this interaction can unpredictably occur several months later.

i have been taking adderall for 7 yrs and have been as high as 90mgs a day. im down to 60mgs a day. i feel paranoid all the time and suffer from depression insomnia and cant remember the last time i smiled. what i want to know is whether or not its possible to wean myself off this drug and continue to work. taking a leave from my job is not an option. is there any safe supplement to help ease the wds? how long do the wds last and will i ever feel better again? what are the wd symptoms?

I saw her toady and she has my list of meds. She put me on TRAMADOL for intense back pain (as needed), Cymbalta for the pain management and anxiety, and she knows I'm currently on 10mg Adderall for ADHD. Should I be worried? I'm not up for landing in the ER...
