By still taking the Oxy, it has kept the symptoms from being too severe. Certainly, it is better to quit one drug at a time. You said that you were going to talk to your doctor about tapering the Oxy. Hopefully, he will support you in that. When do you see him? Try getting outside for a walk every days this will help you with the fatigue.
Does anyone know of anything(besides muscle relaxers: already on Soma) that will help spasticity? I'm up with my leg crampng, which happens far too often. My rt calf and foot almost always feel like they're on the verge of a Charlie-Horse type leg cramp. They do cramp up terribly a few nights a week. I'm constantly stretching the muscles since they are always sore, which doesnt really help much.

hey maybe you can tell me what would be good to take for pain I had ADR surgery 4 years ago, since then they have been switching my meds around and I want to stop taking anything with Tylenol in it. They have me on 30 mg oxycontin, twice daily, 10/325 percocet 6 a day, soma 4 times daily and xanax 2 mg for anxiety.
What are my options for the breakthrough pain, that is what I am taking the percocet for and I need to stop with the Tylenol already enough is enough.
what was ur dose of soma before u quit? soma is usually tapered if high doses r used..and often peeps with a tolerence to soma also have a tolerence to benzos...sleep is important to recovery..phenergan is a safe drug for nausea that also makes peeps sleep..lil pieces like 1/4 can be good in the daytime for anxiety..not addicting and most dr's will call it in for a tummy virus

I was in a car accident March 20th, 2009. I was put on cyclobenzaprine and naproxen for 3 months by my doctor to treat whiplash from mid back to neck.
