Hi. I am wanting to quit taking Cyclobenzaprine. I took 20mg a day off and on, like twice a week for 2 years, and then started taking the 20 mg every day for the last 13 years. I plan to wean off, and am wondering what to expect as of withdrawal symptoms. Also, does anyone know of a natural med I could take in it's place?
Based on the findings, Cyclobenzaprine HCl should be used with caution in subjects with mild hepatic impairment starting with the 5 mg dose and titrating slowly upward. Due to the lack of data in subjects with more severe hepatic insufficiency, the use of Cyclobenzaprine HCl in subjects with moderate to severe impairment is not recommended.

My new doctor prescribed me Cyclobenzaprine for my muscles spams but I take celexa on my regular basis. I remember he told me to be careful in no combining those two. I was in a car accident March 20th, 2009. I was put on cyclobenzaprine and naproxen for 3 months by my doctor to treat whiplash from mid back to neck. At that time I had a severe reaction to naproxen and developed severe ankle to hip pain. Then my doctor put me on tramadol with cyclobenzaprine. I was still experiencing shots of pain down my arms About a month later, so my doctor had me get a MRI of my neck.

I took cyclobenzaprine flexiril (non narcotic and non benzo) for the twichy and it really worked. Anyway....honestly, I must be on day - hmmm 4? or so. I cut my intake drastically Monday, Tues my last fraction of oxy, wed I had a few T3 and had some sleep, now, I have some T3 in my pocket b/c I have to drive, go to work, set up a wedding, just in case I feel rotten again, but I actually feel fine. When you start to feel better it's fast.
I just remembered that about a year ago I was prescribed some muscle relaxers for my neck (Cyclobenzaprine). Do you guys think that if I take one or two of them when I am having a hard time sleeping from the restless legs s**t that it will help me sleep?
My neurologist just gave me some samples of Amrix, a time relased form of Cyclobenzaprine Hydrocholoride. He prescribed it for the pain and limited range of motion caused by tight neck muscles that didn't respond to stretching excersises. This is day two and I find it a remarkable improvement. You are right, certain medications particularly muscle relaxants and antichlinergics, interfere with the results of EMG like baclofen and flexeril or cyclobenzaprine that you are taking. It would be prudent to apprise your neurologist of all the medications you are on, so that the EMG results are appreciated in that light. Muscle biopsy can be taken up after an EMG. Today I still have constant burning sensations and tingling in my back, legs, feet, arms, and hands (now neck too). Sometimes I have numbness. Now taking Gabapentin 3x daily, Ibuprofen 800mg, Cyclobenzaprine 10mg. My primary doc is on vacation and I want her to give me an MRI order for my full spine. I've only gotten an order for only my lumbar spine from another doctor.

Me and my family are going on a 9 hour car ride to NSW tonight and im wondering how bad is it to drink a V while pregnant? Ive never dranken one during a pregnancy before and only considering it cause my partner woke up at 2.30pm today and have to drive them hours after already being awake for 11 hours. I would loke to stay up and watch around while wer driving. Im already tired so should I have a V or na?

If your ob says it's okay that means the benefits outweigh the risks. If you think only taking it when needed is best and it works okay for you then I'd do that.
hi i need help, my sister is 8 months pregnant, is on methadone and was just perscribed promethazine,cyclobenzaprine and zolpidem are these safe drugs to mix with methadone and pregnancy? she did just recently switch doctors for unexplained reasons..
