My dr, said she looked it up in her book, and Wellbutrin XL 150mg, is only prescribed for SAD and to quit smoking. She did not want to prescribe the XL at all no mater what I said. She prescribed me Regular Wellbutrin 100mg twice per day. I do not want the regular wellbutrin as it will make me shakey, and I will not follow through with taking 2 pills per day...
For several years now I've been taking Remeron, Paroxitine, Wellbutrin XL and Lithium; everything is at the top dosage. Only the Wellbutrin and Lithium I take during the day. These drops have been going on for quite some time, but now are the very worst they have been.
Last year I had to quit a part time job because of this and got on the sub list. Mornings are my best times til 9:30am, I push myself thru chores and if I do go to work I pray that is only for 3.5hrs.
I am going on my 5th week of Wellburtin XL 150. I went on it for anxiety but after taking it starting have bad depression. I was crying everyday and feeling horrible. Well about 3 days ago I started to feel better. Went to the doctor today and she gave me Klonpin 1mg to half and start taking at night. I have really bad anxiety and she thinks this along with my Wellburtin should help me. But, she said if I started to feel worse to up my Wellburtin to 300mg.
I started off on 150 mg generic Wellbutrin XL which was not doing much...so I was upped to 300 mg. The sweating is unbelievable! I wake up in the morning drenched. My doc and pharmacist both say it is a side effect of the Wellbutrin and that it should go away. It's been 3 weeks now and I am still sweating a lot! I take mine at night because I don't want it to affect my sleep. Although I see a lot of people take it morning...so I don't if I should be taking it at night .
I was very recently prescribed Wellbutrin XL, after trying several medications that have not helped [including Wellbutrin SR]. When I saw my doctor, she simply said 'I'm putting you on Wellbutrin twice daily' and I assumed it would be the SR. But what I was given was XL, with the instructions to take it twice a day [morning and around noon]. My doctor's office is closed today, or I would have asked her. I did ask the pharmacist, and he said that yes, this is okay.
My doc prescribed Wellbutrin XL since the Lexapro made my depression even worse, excessive sleeping, etc. My question is - can I still take 1 mg of Klonopin to help with anxiety, prevent panic attacks?
I've taken Wellbutrin before for a bad depression and know that it makes a person more energetic but also jittery at times.
Any advice? Could I combine Lexapro 10 mg with the Wellbutrin XL 150 mg?

About 3 days ago my doctor added wellbutrin 150 mg XL for four days then 300 mg XL after that to help with my depression following the loss of my dad. My question is I only have about 6 days more of the xanax will i be addicted after taking them for that short of a time? I never take them during the day. I am afraid to stop until I see how the 300 mg of wellbutrin in gonna effect my sleep.
m on 225 reg. Wellbutrin. The XL, extended release tablets stayed in my system long into the evening strong and kept me from being able to sleep well.
I take it first thing in the morning as soon as I wake up.
About two weeks into my new Wellbutrin regimen (150 mg. SR added to my nightly dose of 33 mg. Remeron), I developed a pretty intense bout of heartburn. This heartburn has stayed with for most of the entire past week-and-a-half, and I've recently added a daily Prilosec to my cocktail, which clears up the problem almost entirely. I'm getting ready to bump my dose up to a second WB 150 SR daily, and am worried about this heartburn issue, as I seem to really be responding to this drug.
VE SUFFERED FROM PANIC DISORDERS FOR A LONG AS I REMEMBER. SO I WENT TO MY PHYCHITRIST AND SHE SUBSCRIBE WELLBUTRIN XL FOR A BOOSTER. PERHAPS TO HELP MY EMOTIONAL EATING AND DEPRESSION. I'VE BEEN ON IT FOR A FEW WEEKS NOW FIRST 150 MGS FOR 7 DAYS THEN 300MGS THAT I'M AT NOW.
you think so,i have been on prozac since march ttrying totaper off but got scared cause going to alaska,so dr said drop back to 10 mg of prozzac well im not going down to 10 mg ffrom 40 mg in one day i was freaking from cutting back from 50 to 40,,,i will wait till after vacation..some say u dont have to taper off prozac but i have been on it since march 2 and evn my pharmasist said that would be to much off a drop for me as i freak out so much..
Can you please tell me if Wellbutrin XL will help with anxiety issues. Or can the medication Cymbalta be of better use?
Well, no not three years ago I didn't even suffer from anxiety. It was just mostly depression from like deaths in the family. My Xanax is 1mg, my wellbutrin is 150mg XL. I'm sorry I didn't provide much information previously...Honestly..I didn't think anyone would help me.
I am also taking Wellbutrin XL and have experienced missed periods. I've been to two doctors- both claimed that my missed periods were attributed to stress and/or increased exercise and not Wellbutrin. Though valid reasons, I do think that Wellbutrin XL is playing a factor. You're not alone, but it might be a good idea to see a doctor.
My doctor started me on Wellbutrin XL 150mg and I felt great the first couple of days, however I now get very depressed in the afternoons, dwelling on the past - how I could have done things better and how messed up my life is now, the doc wants to increase the dose to 300mg but these pills are expensive!! I can't afford to pay $120/month just for these....isn't there anything cheaper that would help?
you won't be on a time release with standard metoprolol that is why you need to take it twice a day. I don't know why you have to cut in in half, Wal-Mart has generic metoprolol in 25mg tablets for $4.
after a few weeks of cutting ftom 2 prozac i feel funny so i go back to 2,my dr wants me to instead of going back to 2 proxac to up my wellbutrin to 2 150 mg in am and 1 in pm..which makes 450 mg/she said it is abit over normal amount of wellbutrin sr..
