i am doing great since last march...im taking the wellbutrin sr 150 mg 3 times a day now instead of 2 in am and 1 in pm..
About two weeks into my new Wellbutrin regimen (150 mg. SR added to my nightly dose of 33 mg. Remeron), I developed a pretty intense bout of heartburn. This heartburn has stayed with for most of the entire past week-and-a-half, and I've recently added a daily Prilosec to my cocktail, which clears up the problem almost entirely. I'm getting ready to bump my dose up to a second WB 150 SR daily, and am worried about this heartburn issue, as I seem to really be responding to this drug.

you think so,i have been on prozac since march ttrying totaper off but got scared cause going to alaska,so dr said drop back to 10 mg of prozzac well im not going down to 10 mg ffrom 40 mg in one day i was freaking from cutting back from 50 to 40,,,i will wait till after vacation..some say u dont have to taper off prozac but i have been on it since march 2 and evn my pharmasist said that would be to much off a drop for me as i freak out so much..
I was very recently prescribed Wellbutrin XL, after trying several medications that have not helped [including Wellbutrin SR]. When I saw my doctor, she simply said 'I'm putting you on Wellbutrin twice daily' and I assumed it would be the SR. But what I was given was XL, with the instructions to take it twice a day [morning and around noon]. My doctor's office is closed today, or I would have asked her. I did ask the pharmacist, and he said that yes, this is okay.
After being on prozac since march and it killing my sex drive,my dr told me to stop it and start wellbutrin sr tommorow..plus the prozac didnt help my depresssion much...he told me it would say on the papers that come with it that it can cause seizures..but he said thats only if you r prone to seizures...so i went to drug checker and put in all my meds ritalin,xanax and wellbutrin....it says the combo of wellbutrin and ritalin really increases the chance of seizures and so does the xanx..
My husband was taking Wellbutrin sr 150 the doctor upped him to 200 sr and they gave him buprion 200 sr(on the bottle it says just Bupr). He had lots of energy on the Wellbutrin sr150 and was a pleasure to be arounds, but on this 200 buprionsr he goes to sleep and is like snappen at me all the time. After reading some of these questions I am worried that things are going to go back to the way they were before he started taking his meds.
When did you switch from SR to XL. That could be part of the problem. I took Remeron and felt groggy all day long every day and ate my way through all my groceries every few days.
Is anyone getting ringing in the ears from taking Generic Wellbutrin(Bupropion sr ) 150 mg. Here is my situation I have been on amitriptiline 25 mg 4 years then went up to 50 mg for 3 years. I started taking only one 150 mg of bupropion sr this is my 5 day. Can I stop taking the amitriptiline with no withdrawls after only 5 days of Bupropion? or has it not been long enough. I hoping that I can stop the amitriptiline by taking the bupropion sr in place of the amitriptiline.
Last night I started taking Wellbutrin SR for my depression. I am taking 150 mg in the morning and 150 mg at night. I have noticed today I am very jittery and shakey. I have had about a half cup of coffee (normally I am on cup 3 by this time of morning). I have smoked one ciggarette all day. Is the shaking a side effect of Wellbutrin or would the combination of caffine having something to do with it?

i have been on about 30 mg of prozac since march 2 a couple weeks ago dr had me up it to 40 then 50 mg,,i saw him yesterday and he wants me to stop it he placed me on wellbutrin sr on june 10th .i told him i want to taper off so he saif cut back 20 mg for three days and then 10 mg for 3 days...i feel this is too fast...

I started taking Wellbutrin SR about 2 months ago and since then I have been experiencing some short term memory loss and have had a decrease in concentration, along with decreased inability to stay focused. Is this a normal side effect for this med?
after about a month on wellbutrin i noticed my weight started dropping, i went from over 280lb to 249lb in 2 and a half months. i am almost sure its the wellbutrin that is helping with this because wightloss for me has been very difficult even with exersise and diet modafications which was not part of the wightloss this time even though i am starting with the gym this week i lost over 30lb doing nothing so im hopeing that with exersise it will drop even faster.
Well about 3 days ago I started to feel better. Went to the doctor today and she gave me Klonpin 1mg to half and start taking at night. I have really bad anxiety and she thinks this along with my Wellburtin should help me. But, she said if I started to feel worse to up my Wellburtin to 300mg. I am scared of that because of the seziure risk I hear about. So, I am wondering if anyone has taken both of these and have you had good results? Also, what side effects should I expect with Klonpin?

I am planing to cut the night dose by breaking the pill to half (.25mg) .But I heard that the SR should not cut since it has some slow release issues .Unfortunately there is no .25 SR available . only plain the regular is available .So what to do ? Anyway I had already taperd of the night dose by cutting it and was on the half for the last 3 weeks (only for night dose) And before two days I have stopped the night dose fully. Having only morning dose .
I just got off prozac after being on it a year,Im still on wellbutrin sr 150 mg twice a day and thyroid meds and hormones...has any one tried any of these supplements? And do you know if they are safe to take with wellbutrin sr?
My Dr switched me over to generice Wellbutrin last week after having tried the SR version. I quit the SR version in early January, see my post in the archives section, due to a bad itching sensation. I quit the generic Wellbutrin on Sunday.
