He appeared to do rather well and didnt have the ticks. Is this safe to do until I can get in to see the Dr or should I go ahead and continue giving him the full 10mg. ?

So, for over 2 years, I have consistently taken 60mg of Adderall. Once I was finally stable on my Adderall, he then took me off of my Xanax (did not WEEN me off, but TOOK me off) stating that 'Florida Law-He can not prescribe 2 Narcotics'.. I went for my regular, I voiced that after a year and a half of being off of Xanax, I'm now experiencing Anxiety more and more severe.. I understood that he couldnt prescribe another Narcotic, but I felt anything to subside my Anxiety would help.

My doctor just prescribed Adderall 10 mg - 2x/day to address fatigue, brain fog and what he calls "pronounced ADD" symptoms. I just had to explain to him that I was planning to cut them in half to save money. So now he writes for half the quantity but twice the dose. I have no idea when the impotence might go away. But if you look at the list below, you may begin to understand WHY he has sexual difficulties. Yes, my pill can be split in half. I don't have a pill spliter, so I am wondering if I can use a knife to cut it. I already cut it actually and it split right in half. My pill has a "divit" like a divider already so it cut very easily.

If you can stick with that Lortab taper,that's great. It gets hard as you go lower so watch for that! I agree with eveerything "addict3" said. The adderall is over. The ambien should be tapered and you can work on that last. Get rif of the lortab as soon as you can. You'll have some withdrawal after your last dose and we'll be here to get you through that. It's so important to stay positive. The best tool is wanting to stop. You've got that!

I cut each in half and take each half 4 times a day a total of 40mg. Which is great, due to the fact that it is consistent throughout the day. I have been taking this for almost 2 1/2 years now. I was on 10 mg at first but after 6 months went to 20 mg 2x day. I haven't had any issues and am not used to it. When you switch from Concerta to Adderall, there should not be any lapsed time in between. You will just take the adderall instead. Hope this has helped.

They tried several different things and eventually switched him to Lyrica. It works great for him...cut his pain med needs in half. I do not promote or warn about it. I do know it is among the list available for me to try if Savella does not end up helping me. I know I have already tried a couple others but didn't get the results we hoped for. If you like the adrenaline rush and energy of adderall maybe you can find it in a healthy outlet, some sort of activity or sport. I do not look back fondly on using adderall, it is like a roller coaster as you said, and basically a laboratory version of speed. I think if you can work on stopping you will start to feel much better and the anxiety will subside a lot.

they majorly helped me with withdrawals, but let me tell you one thing that you HAVE TO KEEP IN MIND--no matter what, at some point you will have to get used to not having anything in your system. Adderall definitely helps the withdrawals feel better but the bad thing is, if you run out of those, and chances are you will if you're an addict like me, you will then feel the effects of having no opiates AND now having no Adderall as well.

Thanks so much for your comment. Yes I was way over medicated when I was younger so it kind of scared me off meds. I had a dr at the time who's answer to every side effect was to give me pill for it. Some horrible experiences from it has made me weary. I definitltely think I need to cut out the 6pm dose the dr wants because here it is 3 in the morning and I'm thinking about what to do...lol.

I am a 48 yr old female diagnosed with recurring severe depression. Adderall is probably the cause of your problems. I would try to take it as early as possible before bed time. I think 5 is still pretty late since the half life can last a while. You may also want to reduce the dose of your last pill.
