Every pill has its own advantages and disadvantages. It may cause side effects in few while not in others. These symptoms being experienced by you can be due to hormonal fluctuations or side effects of the new pill. It may take 2-3 months for your body to adjust to the new pill. If the symptoms are severe and persistent it is suggested to contact your gynecologist and get evaluated. Your doctor may suggest an alternative drug if needed. Hope it helps.

Do I have a choice to stop taking birth control to avoid its side effects, and do I have another option to treating PCOS and regulating my menstrual cycle other than birth control? Will stopping birth control make my PCOS more severe?

I have been taking Cryselle (thats the generic name - I think it may be the Lo Loestrin but check with you dr). I have been on it for a few years now and haven't had any problems with weight. I may get a zit here and there but NOTHING near a breakout by any means.
So early Sunday morning I had sex with this guy. We didn't use protection, I'm not on birth control, and he pulled out but I'm not sure how fast. I looked online and it said take 4 Cryselle(a birth controll) and then 4 more 12 hours later. It said that should work but I'm not sure. I need help bad. My parents don't know, and I'm 15. Help ASAP!
When you end your pack go straight to the next pack--skipping the placebos and that should stall your period. It usually works pretty well and there are no harmful effects. You can then continue the next pack and should have a period when you reach the placebos of the second pack. There could be some break through bleeding which is nothing to be alarmed about if it does happen.

A few months ago I was prescribed birth control by my doctor, I was given Cryselle 28. I am 16, sexually active and suffering from moderate to sever acne. To both my doctor and I, birth control was the answer. I was not even able to get halfway through my second pack. Within a matter of weeks I gained 15 pounds. I'm pretty active as I play soccer and run often and my diet is that of the average 16 year old so not that great but nothing too bad.
ve ever had in my life and I noticed that the blood at first was pinkish , then turned red but it had almost like tissue pieces in it ( this period is when I started my birth control called cryselle) so I was worried but my period came so I thought maybe it was my uterus shedding. My periods are usually 7 days but this period ended up only being 2 days and like a morning of 3.
About two weeks ago, I started taking the birth control pill Cryselle. A few days ago, I started noticing pimples in my pubic areas. I know I do not have an STD. I'm wondering if there is any possible way that the pubic pimples are a side effect to the birth control? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, any remedies to get rid of the pain and the pimples would be helpful!
I started cryselle about 3 weeks ago, and for almost that whole time I've had leg pain from my thighs all the way down my calves. The pain is in both of my legs, so I'm pretty sure it's not a blood clot causing it. Does anyone know what could be causing the pain? I am at the point where I may just quit taking it, as my acne has gotten much worse, and I've been having bad mood swings, since I started taking it.
I started experiencing these things after I had my first child but when it started I had numbness on my whole right side of my body also. I then ended up going to the emergency room and after they did a bunch of tests(ekg, cat scan, blood tests, X-rays) everything came back normal. I thought I was experiencing all of these things because of a birth control I was taking at the time called camilia so I stopped using it. Months later my symptoms left.

Express scripts never sends my perscription on time and usually when they do, they send the wrong perscription of a thing called Cryselle (0.3, 0.03). The differences in numbers stress me out but I have a lot of unused pills of that brand because of all the mess ups. I’m running out of my Estarylla and it will be awhile before Express gets their act together, so will it be a drastic change if I take those pills the last week of my cycle to ride it out?
Nothing worked until I started the BC pill Cryselle. I have had no problems for 6 months but suddenly i began spotting and now i’ve been bleeding heavily for 2 weeks. I’m unsure why this would suddenly occur when I didn’t miss any pills or taken any pills late. I just thought I finally found something that worked and It’s incredibly disappointing to be back at square one it feels like.
I was on it for over a year and had the same problem!! My doctor ts me it's a very common side effect with this pill. She switched me to Cryselle 28 and I have no spotting anymore!

Last month i had a normal cycle, but this month my menstruation or 'withdrawal' bleeding hasn't occurred. I am on the birth control tablets Cryselle (21-28 day. 7 are inactive). In January I took the first and second week of tablets. I forgot to take the third week and fourth week of tablets. I did not partake in any sexually activities. My body was fine, normal bleeding, normal ovulation.
I will do that it seems the higher dose has created this and I'm not on anything else.
Many AD's have side effects that affect the libido, guess it applies to both sex es. As far as I know all AD's have this drastic effect . Hopefully you'll find one that's OK for you . Good luck.
Yes, I've only been on it a week and I experience the muscle aches and bilateral flank pain as well. In addition, insomnia!
THOUGHT I WAS GOING CRAZY BEFORE I FOUND YOU GUY. SIDE EFFECTS MUCH MORE THAN WE HAD BEEN LED TO BELIEVE.PERSONALLY HAVE THE BLURRY VISION, ENHANCED JOINT PAIN, SWEATS, AND SLEEP NOT GOOD. FINALLY SAW FEED BACK FROM THE COMMUNITY THAT VERIFIED OTHERS FEELING SAME. ANYONE FEELING ANYTHING ELSE ODD? PLEASE POST. ALSO HAVE BLOATING, IRRITABILITY. AND CONTRARY TO WHAT DOCTORS SAY, I'M ALWAYS CONSTIPATED.
Hi. I am on week 60/72, second round of treatment. I was really really sick after shot for first few months and then this resolved and became tolerable at least. I now find that I am having these same significant side effects later in tx. This didn't happen last round, but I went 48 then. Anyone else have this happen?
Cancer removed May 22, 2007, chemo July 2nd through October 8, 2007, and radiation on left breast November 2nd through December 26, 2008. Side effect from Taxol perminent numb toes, side effects so far from Tamoxifen body temperature changes of warmth then cold. The web page sites and telephone numbers did not have this information.
