Avatar f tn So early Sunday morning I had sex with this guy. We didn't use protection, I'm not on birth control, and he pulled out but I'm not sure how fast. I looked online and it said take 4 Cryselle(a birth controll) and then 4 more 12 hours later. It said that should work but I'm not sure. I need help bad. My parents don't know, and I'm 15. Help ASAP!
Avatar f tn A few months ago I was prescribed birth control by my doctor, I was given Cryselle 28. I am 16, sexually active and suffering from moderate to sever acne. To both my doctor and I, birth control was the answer. I was not even able to get halfway through my second pack. Within a matter of weeks I gained 15 pounds. I'm pretty active as I play soccer and run often and my diet is that of the average 16 year old so not that great but nothing too bad.
Avatar f tn About two weeks ago, I started taking the birth control pill Cryselle. A few days ago, I started noticing pimples in my pubic areas. I know I do not have an STD. I'm wondering if there is any possible way that the pubic pimples are a side effect to the birth control? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, any remedies to get rid of the pain and the pimples would be helpful!
Avatar f tn I will be getting married in a month. I wish to know what is the best contraceptive option for me.My spouse isnt comfortable in using condoms. I am 24 and he is 26. We dont wish to have children for atleast 2 years.
Avatar f tn I started cryselle about 3 weeks ago, and for almost that whole time I've had leg pain from my thighs all the way down my calves. The pain is in both of my legs, so I'm pretty sure it's not a blood clot causing it. Does anyone know what could be causing the pain? I am at the point where I may just quit taking it, as my acne has gotten much worse, and I've been having bad mood swings, since I started taking it.
Avatar f tn Hi everyone, pls i want to knw if taking oral contraceptive pills will affect my chance of becoming pregnant. I took it for six month to regulate my circle because i hv d prblm of irregular menses, bt i got married now and not pregnant.

Avatar f tn My period began on Sunday evening and I took my first oral contraceptive pill that evening (it was my first time taking a contraceptive pill). My period lasted two days, today is Tuesday and my period has stopped completely. Is it normal for the pill to interrupt my period? Or should I be concerned?
2144876 tn?1341432818 This combination results in increased metabolism of the estrogenic component of the oral contraceptive. The people taking this combination need to be informed that it can result in decrease in efficacy of the birth control pill. Such women need to use an additional contraceptive method as topiramate taken along with along with Loestrin, may reduce its effectiveness and result in unwanted pregnancy. I hope you find this information useful. Do keep us posted. Good luck!
Avatar m tn If you want to lower your level, one way to do that would be to prevent ovulation--the best way to do that is with oral contraceptive pills. I hope this helps!
Avatar n tn Hi... I am 21 years old. Last month I had oral sex with my boyfriend on the 17th of April.. I got really scared so I ended up taking an emergency contraceptive. I was supposed to get my periods on the 11th of may but still havent got them. I have taken several pregnancy tests but all have been negative. Yesterday I went to see a doctor who prescribed meprate tablet... Is this safe? Could I still be pregnant?
Avatar f tn t taken any pills since or had sex. Is it possible that I could get pregnant? I was taking Cryselle.
Avatar f tn If you were my patient, the best advice I could give you is to start an oral contraceptive to regulate your cycles and to prevent pregnancy while you are taking Curacne. The medication can produce severe birth defects and therefore it is imperative to prevent pregnancy while your a using the product. Oral contraceptive pils would also regulate your periods. Good luck!
Avatar n tn If i take Primolut Nor for about 5 or 6 days to delay my period and have protected sex during that time, and once i get my withdrawal bleed after stopping Primolut nor, can i start an oral contraceptive like Yasmine from day one of the withdrawal bleed? This will be my first time ever taking a monthly oral contraceptive.
Avatar f tn Which is used after intercourse? Or is it a normal oral contraceptive which is used for a period of a month? Regards, John.
Avatar f tn I have been taking Cryselle (thats the generic name - I think it may be the Lo Loestrin but check with you dr). I have been on it for a few years now and haven't had any problems with weight. I may get a zit here and there but NOTHING near a breakout by any means.
Avatar f tn Express scripts never sends my perscription on time and usually when they do, they send the wrong perscription of a thing called Cryselle (0.3, 0.03). The differences in numbers stress me out but I have a lot of unused pills of that brand because of all the mess ups. I’m running out of my Estarylla and it will be awhile before Express gets their act together, so will it be a drastic change if I take those pills the last week of my cycle to ride it out?
Avatar f tn Nothing worked until I started the BC pill Cryselle. I have had no problems for 6 months but suddenly i began spotting and now i’ve been bleeding heavily for 2 weeks. I’m unsure why this would suddenly occur when I didn’t miss any pills or taken any pills late. I just thought I finally found something that worked and It’s incredibly disappointing to be back at square one it feels like.
Avatar f tn I am worried about my cycle. Last month i had a normal cycle, but this month my menstruation or 'withdrawal' bleeding hasn't occurred. I am on the birth control tablets Cryselle (21-28 day. 7 are inactive). In January I took the first and second week of tablets. I forgot to take the third week and fourth week of tablets. I did not partake in any sexually activities. My body was fine, normal bleeding, normal ovulation.
Avatar f tn It sounds like you might benefit from a regular contraceptive method such as oral contraceptives or an IUD. Good luck!
Avatar m tn My GYN put me on Cryselle 28 birth control because my period was over 2 months late and she said I have polycystic ovaries. I am of normal weight (5'3 and 126 lbs) but my breasts have swollen so much and are in so much pain, and I am gaining a lot of weight while maintaining a healthy diet. Do I have a choice to stop taking birth control to avoid its side effects, and do I have another option to treating PCOS and regulating my menstrual cycle other than birth control?
Avatar f tn So I would not have any problems doing it with Cryselle which is the pills am taking now. Also, one more questions, once I want my period to come down again all I gotta do is take the whole 28 pills normally?
Avatar n tn How old are you? And are you taking an oral contraceptive?
Avatar f tn s) are safe however should not be substituted with regular oral contraceptive pills cause they tend to fluctuate hormone levels to prevent pregnancy.. The symptoms you are facing are side effects of the pill itself but i don"t think they should last long neither should there be any future carrying on of the effects. It might be a temporary hormonal disturbance.. Try not to worry yourself..
