The weakness and aching are signs of rhabdomyalgia which is a side affect of statin drugs. You need to see the doctor that prescribed the meds as he/she needs to check you. I don't know about the shortness of breath. It could be a drug reaction too.
My hair thinned quite a bit during the peak of it when I was able to pull it out in clumps, but fortunately it was even all over loss, and I have very thick hair to begin with so it doesn't look bad. It did slow down over a period of months and isn't nearly as dramatic any longer--so that's good! I have no clue whether mine was meds or from some aspect of illness or what; sorry I can't give you more insight on that.

My father had a triple by pass surgery about 18 months ago, and has been taking Lipitor, Perondopril and Atenolol. He's been getting abnormal hair growth on one side of his leg and back and chest since he's been on Lipitor, and Perondopril. I googled to see what I could find, and found this site saying that Lipitor can cause abnormal hair growth. http://www****.com/ds/lipitor/hair%20growth%20abnormal/
My question is, has anyone else taking Lipitor experience this?
After 7 years of therapy taking Crestor and Tricor (fenofibrate), I, too, started experiencing intense pain in my legs, feet, back, and arms. My Dr. took me off Crestor last month but the pain returned within a few days, although not as intense as it was prior to my stopping Crestor. I took myself off fenofibrate just a couple of days ago and "Wow" what a difference! I can actually sleep at night and notice that the pain is dissipating more and more each day.
, I have been diagnosed as rosacia. I also have had a severe loss of hair, and the texture has changed so dramatically, any new growth is completely different than it was before. My face and hair have been casing me problems for 4 years. Could any of these be caused by Kenalog or Synvisc?

I started on crestor, than realized I am ttc and starting not feeling well and am on my ttw...I test for my pregnancy saturday. I took the crestor for 4 days than stopped and its been a little over a week. Should I restart and then stop if pregnant or not bother because of the possibility of there being a fetus?
I am just worried about my health.
dry skin, brittle course hair/hair loss, sensitivity to cold ( self diagnosed with raynauds???) I have high cholesterol (240) currently on crestor, difficulty losing weight (unless I eat practically nothing), forgetfulness...etc. I took levothyroxin for years but really never saw any significant changes in those symptoms. I never did any research just figured that was the way it is was going to always be.
Has anyone gotten worsening of their PVC's from taking a statin drug? I seem to be intolerant of these drugs and have tried Crestor, Lipitor and Lescol. My PVC's go absolutely nuts when I take them. I have done my own tests by going off and on them. I consistently get worse when I'm on them. I take C0Q10 and a whole bunch of supplements including magnesium to no avail. Any feedback would be appreciated.
I am a 56 year old woman who developed psoriasis in October 2012. My psoriasis in under control, with the exception of my scalp. When I started tanning, the lesions all over my body went away. I am now and have for some time now experiencing skin discomfort. It feels like I have tiny needles piercing every pore on my body. It is not itchy nor is it painful, it's just extremely uncomfortable.

I try being on a diet but know i am taking Crestor 20mg for triglicerides, and nebivolol 5mg for my bp. I have had some cases of high heart beat and doctors said its nothing to worry about. I had onew 12 years ago, 1one 8 years ago and one 2 yeears ago.They come and go within 10 minutes.Its something with my electrical paths of my heart but doctors said there is no need to worry for now.My docotr said that high bp is due to my sensitive character, and tryglicerides is gentics.
I just finished Sovaldi and olysio and no hair loss at all, in fact hair looked great
I do have hypothyroid which is familial, mother , daughters have it,
Check your thyroid levels
That can effect hair loss, dryness etc( even my eye brows and under arms thinned from hypothyroidism )
You may need to be on thyroid medication such as synthyroid if it is off
