He currently does not have any visible sore on his mouth, but he has very dry /cracked lips (may bleed). If he kisses me (with his dry /cracked lips), how likely will he pass the virus to me? Also, if he licked and kissed other parts of my body like neck and nipples, will it have chance of catching HSV1?

I woke up two weeks ago with the left side of my lips cracked. since then they've healed, but now they're constantly burning, itchy and dark spots are left behind. I know this is not a good idea because it can irritate the skin. about 2 hours after that i started getting chapped lip and my lips got a bit cracked. I went to be and when i woke up my lips were still chapped, all day my lips were chapped and the day after that (today) their still chapped. I so far have not had any symptoms ( i know it takes a while to grow symptoms but i heard it usually shows up within two days). Along with multivitamin B (not a multivitamin which also has other vitamins) take an iron preparation and see. They can also be caused by allergies and infections. I believe that it developed after trying to rip skin from my lip with my teeth two days and pulling skin of my lip manually a couple of days ago because of chapped lips. However, I was really suprised to see a blister develop. As I stated, it is a single painless blisterin the center of my my lip, not along the edge or corner of my mouth. It doesn't appear to be spreading and it isn't red or particularly swollen around the blister.

I guess there are urine tests out there for Herpes, however most of the time when we talk about testing for Herpes it's done either by swabbing the area or doing a blood test.
