i have been suffering for about 2 months with cracked lips at the corners of my mouth please can you help ive tried vasaline which helps it from hurting but its not clearing up

For 2 months I have suffered with dry cracked lips, redness in corners of mouth. Moisture tends to collect in corners of mouth. I feel like if I smile my mouth is stretching. I am constantally wiping the moisture out of the corners of my mouth. My lips have a burning sensation inside and out. Mouthwash sets me on fire, but just the anterior portion of my mouth. I have tried many kinds of chapstick. The redness in the corners of my mouth is spreading. It is very embarassing.

I dont have cracked lips, no dentures, drink a fair amount of water, and no cracks in the corner of my mouth. Perhaps it is from breathing through my mouth too much? Thanks. Rob.

I was recently on vacation in a very dry environment and developed pretty chapped lips and a "crack" in the right corner of my mouth. I chalked it up to the weather and lack of sleep / hydration. I have now returned home (about 4 days later) and my lips have cleared up with the exception of the corner crack and I have also developed what I would describe as a small whitehead a half inch or so down from the crack, on my lower lip just below the "rosy" part.

This winter I got chapped lips and started using Burts Beeswax daily. Went well all winter then last week I woke up and my lips we're so chapped, I yawned and the corners of my mouth cracked. 3 cuts on both sides for a total of 6 cracks.. ouch! Also the areas around the corner are numb. There is a burning pain all day and the edges of my mouth are itchy. This has been going for 4 days now. I've used vaseline and changed to medicated blistex but no relief. Any help would be great.

But he has ate me out... and one time he had what looked like cracked lips... on both corners of his lips. and he ate me out... after i realized they were there it was to late... i freaked out but it was on both sides... and looked like cracked dry lips... anyways that was about 3 weeks ago.. well about a week ago i thought i had an UTI. Hard to pee. Felt like i had to pee all the time. hurt before i pee'd.

s no texture or feel to these bumps (ones at the corner of mouth) as if they are scars. The ones on upper lips, are super fine and tiny but I can feel the bumps.

My lips started to tingle, burn, and then presented little white bumps in the corner of my mouth and also little bumps on my top lip that can only be seen when the lip is stretched. It's been like that for 3 months now and I think I'm going to go get it looked at. They don't always burn or tingle and when they do it is only for a few minutes. I have cracked corner lips what should I use ? Should I use cortisone 10 ? With aloe or miconazole cream that is for yeast infections which I know is proven to help.

Hello Dr. I know I am being a bit crazy but I need some verification. I was taken out for by Bachelor party last week and got wasted. I feel really bad. My best man was sober and told me I did nothing wrong. My worry is the fact that the one stripper took my finger and put it in her vagina. I noticed I had some cracked cuticles at the time.

At the end of March (of this year) my mouth began to crack right at the corner. I don't remember it pussing or oozing...it would crack open and hurt pretty bad. After about a month the other corner cracked open. It would begin to heal and then crack open again. I tried antifungal cream and that seemed to help things out, but it would not heal up all the way. In addition to the cracking in the corners, the center of my lip felt very dry.

I've been getting sores right in the corner of my mouth, where my lips meet. Though the cream I use for canker sores was getting rid of them, this week, it's not working. The sore is related to tx, not a big deal, but annoying. Any suggestions ?

s pretty thick and greasy, but it has cleared up some of the lighter acne spots but the spots at the corner of my lips have only changed to slightly lighter. I've been using this cream for about a month and hope it makes a difference in the log run.

And the day after my lips felt really dry and so then we did oral again and now the corner of my lip hurts because I opened my mouth too wide and there looks like there's friction bumps or something.. Can anyone help? I read somewhere that a urine test didn't cover herpes. Are my lips just chapped and cracked?

@ Belle - I read on here to try Monostat. I had a little tube that came w a kit. Only lips n sides of my mouth where it cracks, and it's gone. I only use it as needed now. Maybe a few days a month.

Also, there is cracked mouth which are cracks in the skin in the corner of the mouth. This is not herpes either.

I kissed a guy (french kissing) with tongue, then after few hours i realized i have a small mouth ulcer inside upper lip that is few days already and not painful anymore and small already. not totally healed but not painful to the point i forgot i have a mouth ulcer. it is not bleeding. i also have a dry cracked portion on the corner of my mouth. it cracks when i open my mouth wide but it's not bleeding. but it's not healed yet.
