Avatar m tn Hi all! I had a heart attack and was diagnosed with diabetes almost a year ago that turned my life upside down. Since the attack and quadruple bypass surgery I've lost my house, car, and can no longer do the work I've been doing for the last 30years b/c of the physical requirements. I've applied for and been denied Disability and don't know where to turn. My challenge now is being able to the afford my medicine needed every month of about $150.
Avatar f tn Go to www.nursingpillow.com & after you choose one put in the discount code "valentines2013". You will only have to pay shipping for $12.95.
Avatar f tn Some places gice you a discount if you buy things off your registry that you didnt get once baby has arrived but you only get it on one bulk purchase. In order to get that discount you will only get it on things you put on your list usually 90days (when youre 6 months pregnant) before youre due. Anything you put on it 89 days or closer to your EDD they do not discount.

432779 tn?1364494875 I have been doing research on this, but I am preggers with my first. I spoke at length with the bank CBR and she said that cord blood is 100% match to the child and a 75% match to the sibling. The lady also told me that if you bank a second child that they had some sort of "family" discount on the price but I am not sure to what extent, if the discount only goes towards the yearly fee or if they give you a discount on the initial collection as well as the yearly storage fee.
458090 tn?1256321162 When I was looking for a place to buy meds I discovered that most places give discounts if you pay out of pocket but different places discount different meds. Some give you a break on Follistim and some on Gonal-F. Schraft pharmacy gave me a discount on Gonal-F. However, if your doc prescribes Follistim take it and run since it's sooo much cheaper even without a discount.
Avatar n tn I have dental insurance but as we all know the coverage has been less and less over the past few years so I looked into dental discount programs. Did you know that some dental providers will accept both insurance and a dental discount plan togeather? It took me about 5 phone calls but I know it was worth it. On my first visit I had 3-cavitys filled. The cost after my insurance was $144. factor in the dental discount plan and my out of pocket cost was only $14!!! Check it out at http://www.
Avatar m tn I ran into a Protonix discount program that is supposed to work over your phone by texting PRO. Has any one used this program or one like it? I looked into places on this forum but could not find if there was a better place for this question so I apologize if I am in the wrong section. I currently use protonix and if I can save money on my prescription that would be great. Thanks for your insight.

19752224 tn?1483745639 t have insurance so I checked out getting a drug discount card. Using it saves me a lot of money on my prescription. I'm not sure what the cost would be for the long acting meds but you can ask your pharmacist. It varies from store to store. Actually, you can research this on line to see what the costs are at different pharmacies. I think the website is called goodrx. Research discount drug cards for the long acting medication. You can save up to 80% off of your prescription.
5326543 tn?1367587265 Patients may receive up to a 100 percent discount on eligible services. Discount amounts are based upon a patient’s adjusted gross income compared to percentages of the current Federal Poverty Income Guidelines. Patients who have large medical bills after insurance pays may also be eligible for charity care discounts. These medical hardship situations impact a patient’s ability to pay for basic living expenses and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Avatar f tn The only reason I put bigger items is because we plan to purchase them but you receive a discount if its on the registry. Like at target we get 15% off and babies r us you can get up to 20% off I believe.
Avatar f tn Or sometimes a few friends may go in as a group gift. That being said most places will give you a discount on items that remain on the registry after your shower. I think Babies R Us and Target gave 15-20% off any items that remained. So put diapers, infant Tylenol, diaper cream, cool most humidifier EVERYTHING so you can get the discount on items you need. People usually get clothes and blankets at showers.
1221207 tn?1267061572 Hi, I used Bravelle for my IVF and I am now 32 weeks pregnant so obviously it works.
Avatar m tn m not as familiar with Ameriplan but it sounds like a discount plan to me. Essentially you pay Ameriplan to get access to their network of dentists. These dentists, in turn, agree to charge you a preset reduced fee from what is defined as usual, customary or reasonable. What those fees are, I'm not sure. But my assumption is that it is reduced. But Ameriplan does not pay for any of your care. You will essentially be paying 100% of your costs but at a reduced rate.
Avatar n tn Usually the price goes down about 30% once it goes generic. The real advantage is for folks who have insurance that have a flat rate for generic prescriptions - right now valtrex is either on their no discount list or at a higher rate - for instance my own it's $30/month. Once valtrex goes generic - for my own insurance it drops it down to a $10/month charge for me.
