My friend's company replaces his CPAP supplies whenever he asks. They give you instructions on how to keep it clean. Obviously nobody wants to do it, but there are consequences. Otherwise they would let you do it the easy way. Now you have unexplained lung nodules, so you will have to get a biopsy to find out what is going on. Nobody here can help you.

Pressure support ventilation, where air under gentle pressure is passed into the airways keeping it patent. A CPAP delivers continuous pressure for both inhaling and exhaling. As this supplies continuous amount of air pressure the person has to exhale against this extra pressure. This makes it imperfect or unsuitable for certain people, such as those who are suffering from neuromuscular diseases.
(and for my sleep apnea, I had used cpap, but with no noticable results)....I just want to be alert enough to get 'stuff done'.......and I am in tears almost every day, especially on the weekends, because I don't have the alertness/energy to do ANYTHING.........Please tell me where I can go for additional help.....Thanks......
(Exhausted frequently, had been diagnosed (RVH) with PLMS (111 day and 122 night) in 1993, together with slow and shallow breathing (HYPOPNEAS which imitate OAS) but later CPAP for 2 years made things worse as breathing OUT was restricted! Had been described as "a fainter" in adolescence. (Not Jewish.) Still unsteady when stand up if do not breathe consciously beforehand. Still get near to fainting when in pain and call 911. It was suggested I take salt and drink lots more water.
