Common Questions and Answers about Cpap supplies free

cpap

Avatar f tn My friend's company replaces his CPAP supplies whenever he asks. They give you instructions on how to keep it clean. Obviously nobody wants to do it, but there are consequences. Otherwise they would let you do it the easy way. Now you have unexplained lung nodules, so you will have to get a biopsy to find out what is going on. Nobody here can help you.
961503 tn?1247059639 Go back to whoever you get your cpap supplies from and ask about a full face mask. The chin strap did not work for me....... I had to get the mask that covers both nose and mouth. Hope that helps!
Avatar f tn But I do sometimes still have chest pain and numbness at night, which the glutin free diet dosent seem to help, however a low dose asprine and deep breathing seems to help, mostly I have thease symptoms when im feeling stressed.
Avatar f tn Pressure support ventilation, where air under gentle pressure is passed into the airways keeping it patent. A CPAP delivers continuous pressure for both inhaling and exhaling. As this supplies continuous amount of air pressure the person has to exhale against this extra pressure. This makes it imperfect or unsuitable for certain people, such as those who are suffering from neuromuscular diseases.
Avatar n tn Due to our insurance company copays, we are spending more per month on diabetic supplies than we can afford. Is there a pharmacy that will accept what the insurance company pays and not require the copay? I know such things exist for Type 2 on Medicaid, but what about for type 1? Thanks!

Avatar f tn Shhhhhhh - your brain and body are listening. Give yourself some positive self talk, such as... I can do ANYTHING for just 30 days. Sleeping in my own home and bed will be nothing like in that lab. I'm going to take advantage of this change to get 30 days of real quality sleep. I'm glad that CPAP increases my likelihood of a good surgical outcome and recovery. I'm glad the next 30 days I will be at reduced risk of heart attack and stroke.
Avatar f tn Some great resources for locating free and low cost clinics are the two links I have listed below. These clinics usually require proof of income to be eligible for services (which can include doctor's visits and even lab work). I’m a Type I who doesn’t have any insurance either and these types of clinics have worked for me—I have received very low cost doctor’s visits and lab work. https://www.pparx.org/FreeClinicFinder.php http://findahealthcenter.hrsa.
514349 tn?1272801633 for me. So far I am CPAP free.
Avatar n tn If you would like to help this individual, please go to the website described in the answer above (the JDRF website) and send a statement to the Online Diabetes Support Team saying that you have supplies for this person in case this person contacts them. But do this only if you are offering the supplies free of charge, for this organization cannot supply contact info for commercial enterprises.
Avatar m tn So finally getting to my question, can anyone direct me to where I can get supplies at a low cost? I have no insurance and desperatley need supplies. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could please point me in the right direction!
Avatar m tn I am a 46 year old male and have sleep apnea. I use a CPAP with a high setting (15). I have a mask that covers nose only because the full face mask was a bit claustrophobic. I have noticed that I am waking in the middle of the night and morning with a mouth that is so dry I cannot swallow...teeth and tongue really dry. I am definitely still mouth breathing, even with the CPAP. I also noticed over the last week that my tongue is yellowish (related?).
Avatar m tn theirs are different companies that giv the meters and some supplies 4 free here are some names one touch/bayer meters jus look up the toll free # hope it helps
1555684 tn?1294434646 Many elected surgery over CPAP and ended up STILL needing CPAP. It takes time for the medical community to get a good picture of a new treatment's long term effectiveness. I would consider the device you mention, but not for a very long time. Since weight is not your issue, you could very well have a jaw structure that is more narrow than what allows comfortable breathing once the tissues relax during sleep.
Avatar f tn I have two different meters-One Touch Ultra Mini and Accu-Chek Aviva. Is there any place to get free supplies or very low cost supplies for these meters? Your suggestions ar greatly appreciated! Thank you !
1454858 tn?1306784378 But I can honestly say i would have died without his bouncy seat!!!! he is 6 months and still uses it. and it was only 30 bucks(well free for me cause i got it at my baby shower) Its a real life savor. DO NOT buy a bottle warmer or diaper thing or a bottle steralizer.. complete waste of money.. buy a bag of diaper trashbags there blue and scented u put nasty diapers in them. you get like 60 for a buck something. i still have the same bag, 6 months later.
Avatar m tn Hi there i don't know how you got brain damage , surely it can't be because of Sleep Apnea !!!!!!!!!!!! What CPAP machine have you got ??? looking forward to your reply Take care ............
Avatar m tn I would talk to your doctor or a local clinic, though, because sometime there are special offerings for free diabetes supplies through pharmaceutical companies, etc. I also notice right on this site ads for free supplies through dlifedotcom. They are a reputable organization.
Avatar f tn Does anyone know where to get free diabetic supplies. I have a friend who has a 16 year old daughter with diabetes. He has insurance but it still is costing him a lot of money in doctor bills and supplies. We live in Ohio, can anyone help me find a site or an organization to help him??
1611319 tn?1378618399 I am wondering if CPAP or Oxygen level is making me worse? or has CPAP played a part in the cause from the beginning. My Respiratory Doctor is also an ER doctor and has not been in his office, I have to wait till June 4th for resluts and a Game Plane! I have considered going to ER just to see him. Or City is short on these doctors and one has been having health issues himself and is out. So I cannot go to another. These are my most recent labs including thyroid stuff.
9445847 tn?1408059755 but in Florida its tax free weekend Aug 1st-3rd. I work at walmart and we got a hand out on what is tax free. Among aparrel and school supplies, diapers and wipes are also tax free. I know I will be stocking up. Just thought I'd share!
Avatar n tn Some machines record treatment data that reports how well the treatment is working for your apnea. Also, if you are on CPAP, some masks have straps that are too tight around the lower back of the head and hurt the muscles of the neck that connect the head and shoulders.
Avatar n tn You can start by writing to the mfg to see if they offer free or reduced cost supplies. You also can search for and inquire at free clinics in your area. Use Google search for free clinics XXX, ZZ, where XXX is your city and ZZ the state. Another source which provides links to "free" diabetic supplies is http://tinyurl.
