Avatar m tn t fully inhale and I also feel light headed when inhaling. I have noticed that the problem gets worse when I concentrate on it at all. If I am distracted (hard to do when you feel like this) it does lessen. I have also noticed that I can perform physical activity and it doesn't worsen (just remains the same). It's a terrible feeling that causes me to be on the verge of panic all the time. I have test my saturated oxygen levels and they are usually 95%+.

1493284 tn?1294875712 Yesterday I took a sip of juice and all of a sudden it was as though I was literally inhaling it-- I felt myself breathing liquid, choking, and of course automatically bent over and began to cough like mad and gasp for air. I wasn't talking at the time, and I certainly wasn't laughing. I wasn't breathing fast or "gulping"-- I was just standing in the kitchen, waiting for my daughter. It just felt so "out of nowhere.

Avatar f tn I woke up this morning with a weird felling in my chest and no pressure in head or near ear anymore. Have not had fever or mucus (nose blowing ) or coughing until now (still no fever), and it is minimal but the feeling in my chest is off, not like pressure almost a "cool" feeling? What in the world could that be?
Avatar f tn Dry nose-sinuses can cause this (I get it myself). When the nose is too dry, it doesn't humidify the air sufficiently, then as it moves along it drys and thickens mucus further down. Eating stimulates saliva flow which starts to loosen the thick mucus and you end up with a cough. In my own case it's often a deep choking cough. It can help to drink some water about 15min or so before eating. Flushing the nose with saline solution beforehand can help as well.

Avatar f tn What kind of inhaler did the Dr. give you? If it's asthma, you need two types of inhaler-- one to treat your lungs long-term (doesn't give relief of cough/symptoms straight away, but is used every single day, usually morning AND night, to build up the strength of your lungs, decreasing the attacks of coughing and lessening the need of other inhaler) and a relief inhaler that is used on-the-spot when it's needed, i.
5037123 tn?1362663006 Last week I was diagnosed with Asthma (through a breathing test) after two bouts with Bronchitis and lots of coughing. My doctor gave me Advair. After 3 doses I began getting back pain between my shoulder blades. Not sure if it was from the Advair I took another dose and the pain got worse. I contacted my doctor and he changed me to Symbicort. I had no problem for 3 days, but after today's dose the back pain is back. Is this typical or am I doing something wrong when inhaling.
Avatar m tn Now I have severe pain when inhaling, so it makes coughing hard and painful. Luckily, I have very little fluid and lungs are clear. I am still able to cough up mucus a few times a day, but was wondering how long this pain will last? It seems to have gotten worse today so that it makes it hard to even walk and/or twist. Not life-threatening for sure, and am otherwise very pleased with my results (minus the constipation!) Thanks in advance.

Avatar n tn I knew something went down the wrong tub because I felt it and kept coughing. After coughing subsided I thought everything was fine and I didn’t think anything of it. Over the last week and a half at work I have had to wear a mask due to covid. I have felt sluggish with chest pains and head aches. I was worried I had covid two days ago as I started coughing uncontrollably. Finally today a piece of corn flew out followed by a bunch of mucus or flew.
Avatar f tn I try to stop breathing fast so that i can talk but i cant help it and then i make a fool out of myself. Even when i actually stop crying, the really fast inhaling continues for a while and then i start shaking like mad. It's almost like fast hiccups one after the other but im just inhaling air. Does any one know why that happens? thankyou.
Avatar m tn The pain increases when I take a full breath or exhale fully, and it increases when I exercise. Also when I run it feels like my lungs are unable to inhale fully. The doctors checked out my heart and lungs and said they looked fine, one doctor told me it was costochondritis, and another told me it was heartburn. I doubt it's either of those things, it really feels like a respiratory problem.
Avatar m tn s more tight but my breath is ok.. And also started lightly coughing like one time in 2 hours I have to cough.. When I was sleeping yesterday I had not problems and did not cough... It's a kind of dry cough. I myself think it is because of the stop with smoking. Is this something related or do I have to visit a doctor immediatly. Thanks,.
